I'm just at end of 5th week 12/12 hydro and still no crystals? My buds are huge and healthy and roots are amazing but I've also got light green single leaves growing from new top nodules. They're not the usual cannabis leaf. Only 2 plants mid centre stems have got these single leaves growing from them. This is my 5th grow and I've never seen these kind of leaves tho this is 1st time growing hydro. Can any1 help me out here as loosing sleep over this very strange!

There are a couple of helpers that I know of to help produce more trichomes.
One is the addition of UV-B light to your light shedule, the plant produces more trichomes to help protect against the uv rays.
Also adding a little heat stress will cause the plant to produce trichomes for protection.
Once you start getting them in, you can reduce the use of them.
There are also products (ferts) available to boost production of them, but I have not seen any real diffrence using them myself.

Thanks for that. Are the single large leaves an ok thing or ???? Any idea what's happened there?
Where did the plant come from? Seed? Clone? Is it a feminized, regular, auto seed? Strain? What's it's environment like?
It could just be some schwag ass weed that won't ever produce much crystals. I've had that happen to me before

Have you checked your timers? If they got screwed up it's possible it's revegging and that can explain both no trichs and weird leaf growth.

plant was flowered before healthy. no amount of uv will make more trichomes for you now but it may make the end trichomes
more bulbous and possibly boost potency

My buddy always have same probs. They end up with dandy looking buds but no THC. Theirs almost have too much "hay" on them. Or that's best I can explain what the buds looks like. When I grow my own I always get loads of THC, starting to really build up on about 4th week but present before that as well. We have even grown same plants, meaning I took 2 at end of veg and flowered them. They were a little more set up and used MH lights, I only used a load of cfls for mine but mine were covered and theirs were not. The only thing I could think of was that their temps were always at about 35-40c lol They were "plant it and leave it folks" lol I got a bit of OCD on the go and always kept mine between 18c and 26c. Anytime it went over it bothered me and I fixed it. They were in my bedroom and I work from home so I had lots of time to attend to them. Maybe only me but I think the heat made theirs almost furry. Like they were trying to protect from heat. And hey I may be wrong about it all but it works for me!!

35-40C will screw plants up big time.
