On my first test grow, I dealt with not enough light and root rot late on. A picture of her is posted below. Feel free to laugh at the set up - I do now as well. There was more than the one light, but obviously not enough. I knew I had root rot because I could smell it. Or at least it rot from hte nutes going old (tried to use MG in recommended dose- feel free to laugh again) I flushed with some hydrogen peroxide a few times and that took care of that. I was bottom watering primarily. So.... I got about 4g off of the plant when all was said and done and she looked just like yours. Not worth the hassle for the bud but I learned a ton.

Because I know my tendency to overdo things, I tried to maker everything as brainless as possible. Especially watering. I bought the Tropf Blumat system for watering and am happy as hell with it. It doesn't let things dry out as much as would be optimal, but it keeps my plants happy. For about $80 all said and done (with a bucket for gravity watering), all I need to do is add a gallon or two to the bucket and check it every day or so. Every other time I add water, I use the Fox Farms nutes as recommended on their feeding chart. I can water up to about 8 plants with this set up, take off for a few days, etc with no problems. I am very surprised I don't see more people using the Tropf.
So adding more light - a lot more light, getting nutes under control (now using no nute soil/peat moss/vermiculite/perlite blend), and using the Tropf for watering has me growing this (in last week of veg I think):

Do you see the difference? I'm a newbie too but listen about the light. If I were you, I'd read the sticky about how to chop her and replant her or I'd clone her and start over with a better set up. By the way, the plant that is thriving in the second pic is a clone from the first plant.
