5000K vs 2700K for veg?

Okay so heres the conundrum...

I am unable to buy any cfls that are 6500K they all seem to max out at 5000K (at least in terms of places locally I can pay cash at). So until I get an online delivery I want to give my ladies the best of what is available immediately. According to the chlorophyll activity chart in Jorge Cervantes' Grow Bible activity is actually higher at 2700K than 5000K. I just want to make sure that if I go buy a few 2700K bulbs at the store that it would be better for my plants (in seedling stage) than if I go with 5000K bulbs...

advice, comments? And please dont say "go MH/HPS" lol.

it's odd that people can't get the 6500 K I can find them everywhere here in Vancouver.
Yeah go with the 27000 k the science is there. I've used 4200 K and they were terrible even 3500 k didn't work.

I'm confused, when I started my first grow I was told by many people to use 5600k for veg and then use 2700k for flower. But now I read that its actually better to use 2700k for veg too, and that the only thing to do to switch to flowering would be to switch to 12/12. My current grow is using 5600k, but I have 2700k bulbs in my closest ready for when I was going to switch to flowering. So, which is it? 5600k or 2700k for veg?

There's a HUGE difference between 5600 & 5000 K use the 5600 K for vegging.
This is probably the chart OP is talking about, right ?

...yuuup, that's the chart I was talking about, so I got rid of my 5000ks and ran to lowes and got 5 23 watt 2700k's and a 42 watt 2700k. Heres hoping my babies hold out until the 6500's come.
