If those little sacks looks like miniature bananas I can tell you what they are. I read up on this topic.
If you have a female that is basically just about ripened or is pretty much ripened and ready to be taken down, if it is sensimilla (A female plant without seeds and hasn't been fertilized), she will start to grow these little banana like flowers. The job of these flowers is a last resort pollen sack. It wouldn't be called a hermie, this trait comes with every single marijuana plant. These banana's hold the prized cultivator and geneticist's pollen, it is feminized pollen. If you take those banana peels and save them and extract the pollen from them, put it aside, and when you have a plant that you prize and absolutely love and want to work with for future genetics and you want to keep it, you take one of those bananas and the pollen and sprinkle the pollen on the bud. What you will get is NATURALLY FEMINIZED SEEDS!!! These are a true prize for any experience cultivator and geneticist because you can not only carry the genetics on by cross pollinating females, but you can pollinate and be GUARANTEED feminized seeds!!! Everybody I know dies for those bananas to show early, because we all pride ourselves in creating our own genetics. You simply have to pick them off the flowers daily to ensure they don't ruin your current crop, and the day or two before you plan on harvesting, let a couple grow out so you can extract the pollen from them. Save that pollen for when you have another plant you love and want the genetics to be crossed with, and boom, you have your own feminized seed creation! Keep in mind, you can polinate one little bud on the bottom of a female plant and it will not ruin the entire female, just the buds that the pollen affected. I do this on every single crop so I always have a consistent grow that originates from seeds. It doesn't take any longer to grow from seed. If you think about it, when you grow from clones it will take two weeks for the clones to root. If you grow from seed, it will take two weeks for your seed to develop into a plant that is the similar size. The difference is that clones are a little genetically weaker than a seeded plant. It all depends what you prefer and what you are after. If you are purely commercial, clones are ideal to keep consistency and promise of ONE particular desirable plant. If you are commercial however like to keep your crop strong and developing, then using this feminized pollen sack method is ideal. If you are geneticist, this is also very ideal. Either or, banana pollen sacks on female plants at the end of flowering do not indicate hermie, they indicate a beyond ready to harvest female that is creating the bananas for fear that it will die and the plant will become extinct. It creates these pollen sacks to ensure that the plant will carry on for future generations.
Look it up, do some reading. Try to find some information on cannabis female flower pollen sacks or cannabis female flower "bananas" I don't know how much information is out there on the net, but I know it is in books. If anybody is truly curious, simply ask, I will pull out a book and try to answer what I can later, or even PM me, however for now, this is the best I can remember or do.
Hope this helps and is pretty useful stuff for some of you!
