Nice! i just need some new jars, then im gunna try my first run at some shrooms too. I have some "psilocybe arerus tantus" spores. The sterilization seems pretty intense, but im excited... Even though i hate eating shrooms lol. My friends enjoy them, but i Just love makin things grow .

Sounds like you had some good home grown ones man. The gold flakes are vermiculite its used in making substrate it helps hold moisture for the mycilium to use to grow. I've eaten up to 7g in one sitting, thing about that was it was less then 12 hours after I had eaten about 5.5gs. That night was to say the least LEGEN.......I felt like was was floating above my body........DARY!! I also had a night were I ate about 6g and was tripping alone, after my second blunt to the head my ceiling started turning into a swirling galaxy with shining stars scattered across it. Shortly after I had myself convinced that I was the second coming of Jesus Christ and that I had to save the world before it destroys itself. Crazy thing about that one is I'll never know if it could be true.....................................................................

Here's the weird looking plant, idk, they came from different bags, no sign of male parts and its still flowering good. Maybe its a hybrid and this is the sativa coming out. Idk.

Haha, that's crazy. When I had my bad trip, we were watching the movie "spun" and there were two sober people that I didn't trust too much. Horrible decisions for somebodies first trip

I thought the cops were going to bust down the door and arrest me for being crazy. One important lesson of the night. Be in the right state of mind and prepare for the journey. Idk if hallucinogens are my cup of tea. The thought of it is cool and everything, but when it comes to trip, its never goes where I planned. Salvia was fun, even more fun to watch than do. I remember my old co worker, he was straightedge mennonite(I'm not religeon bashing, beings I'm a christian myself. But my point being, he's the last person id expect to trip. He invisioned that he was in a factory and there was a conveyor belt in front of him, where colorful objects in different shapes and sizes came down the line. For about 3 minutes he said that he could pick up these objects and morph and move them through the air. It was the funniest thing ever, because I could tell he was actually seeing and interacting with these objects.

Oh and the stems on those shrooms were gold, I think I expained wrong, it was like they had a gold foil coated stem. And white caps.

Hmm interesting.

I wanna add I would not classify any of my trips are "bad trips". A few have gotten really crazy, but I feel like I've always came out on top and learned alot about myself and the universe.

This mornings update. I'm getting impatient, probably the hardest part of growing.

A little eyecandy for ya this morning.

Trichs on my older plant are 75% cloudy, pistils starting to recede. Getting closer by the minute.
I'm predicting 2 oz minimum on this plant. The other plant is probably 3 weeks behind or so.

Oh I forgot a very important fact, the two plants are from different bag seeds, so id imagine they are different strains. And I do know that my younger plant starting frosting up a little earlier, so it may be the more potent of the two. I can't wait to try them.

Very nice man variety is a nice thing to have.

Yep, yep. Right now I'm looking for some good outdoor strains. Planting season is right around the bend.

They have to be indica, there's no way a sativa would even finish. NY

Something like C99 would be a sativa hybrid finishes very fast 50-55 days. There are other real good hybrids that give you some options, another thought would be a auto flower. In places that have short seasons that can be a way to ensure a good harvest. I'm not personally a fan of autos, but I'm never grown one so that not from experience. If your gonna put something outdoors, I personally would absolutely get it started and as big as possible inside before I put it out to maximize what you get off it in the short season.

After I finish what I've got ill get some vegging. I gotta order seeds, I would prefer something mold resilient because it rains a lot in the northeast. I'm not going to be able to care for it daily, but we have a fast moving freshwater stream nearby, thinking about irrigation, I think the creek has enough force to push up a hose.
