Sounds like a plan, its hard to find a keeper w all the right traits. I got 21 out of 37 rooted n transplanted in 9 days, its weird that sum of the uglier clones rooted faster than the bigger healthy ones, all where done the exact same way. Anyhow, hows the autoflowers coming along?
I've really had only VERY little experience with cloning myself. Counting 3D, I've only done 6 clones in all and i think 1 or 2 didn't make it lol. But I really haven't tried that hard I guess. I need to start doing some clones really since it takes a significant amount of time off the vegging stage....I really want to find 2 good keepers. I was thinking about finding a good purple plant and a good blueberry plant, because I really love the distinct fruit tastes like grapes and blueberries....not just a "tropical" mixture like some weeds are. Before I started this journal, I had a really good TGA Qrazy Train plant that was a slight shade or purple but tasted VERY grape and was VERY potent. I really want to try that strain again and find a keeper mother.

The autoflowers are doing great. The one that I let just grow how it wanted (christmas tree shape) in the 2 gallon is showing the most amount of bud so far, but it is also the one that gets overlapping reflector lights from 2 lights....the other 3 are doing good as well. One of the other ones in 2 gallon pot is showing some signs of problems (it was a runt in sprout stage and also showed some problems- should have tossed it then possibly). It has leaves that have just completely burned looking spots on it almost like it got too much light but it is one of the ones farthest from the light, lol. I think it might have got messed up back when I had it in the mother tent and it was really humid in there...could have had too much moisture on leaves when lights came on or something...who knows but it is putting on bud at least LOL

The green-o-matic in the 5 gallon pot is branching out - think its gonna be a pretty big plant once it stops stretching...but yea all 4 of the autos are showing good bud production, even the sick one lol Stay tuned for pictures tonight when lights come on

Well, ever since I put the 3D buds up Thursday morning to start drying, we have had relative humidity around 40-50% outside, and my drying room has been right around 45% at 74F. Took one of the biggest buds that was still left on a stalk, and the stalk was just only slightly flemsy. Outside of all the buds feels dry but not brittle. So, needless to say, PERFECT time to take the buds down from drying, snip each little nug off the large stalks, and start the curing process in mason jars! So I just got finished with that and the results were good :)

I always trim off the large stalks and leave no stem or petiole on my bud if at all possible. Anyway, final weight was 89grams. Just a bit over 3 ounces like I predicted! I'm sure it'll lose a gram or 2 in weight after the burping process of curing is done within the first 7-10 days, but I am very happy!!! Nugs are absolutely covered in trichomes and the smell in the jars after an hour of being closed is VERY tropical smoothie smelling with some hashy undertone. Just got done smoking a 0.7g nug and I was impressed. It got me just as high if not more than some supposed "OG" that my homie sold me on 4/20. I'll do a full smoke report around the first of May after it sits in the jars a while. Meanwhile, here are some pictures!

Well here is the 8 week mark for the 4 plants I started this thread off with! :) Only 3 of the original 4 remain now: Big Bang, Vortex, El Nino. El Nino is getting chopped down for sure this week, because it is showing mostly cloudy and now some amber trichomes. Vortex and Big Bang are still kinda iffy on when to chop, so I'm probably gonna wait another good 10-14 days on them. Vortex is really putting on some weight and still has plenty white hairs. Same thing goes for Big Bang...buds are swelling greatly these last few days. El Nino is just putting on more and more blankets of resin; think it's done throwing on weight.

As for the newer additions to the Flowering Tent.....OG#18 (now on day 12) has yet to show sex still. No pistils, no hairs, no balls...still just growing. Pandora's Box (day 2 flowering) has also yet to show sex. Here is a breakdown of the Green-o-Matic Autoflowering plants: 5 gallon one is doing great; it is starting to expand more outwards instead of growing taller and it is budding well. The other 3 in 2 gallon pots: one is doing GREAT! it is the one in the back right next to Big Bang. It has the most bud of the green-o-matics. There is one plant that has splotches all over some of the leaves that you can see in the pictures; not sure what's up with it. It is getting same care and nutes/water as all other plants. Seems to be a runt plant; but it is putting on bud. And the last green-o-matic in the 2 gallon pot is doing pretty much same as the one in the 5 gallon pot beside it.

Here's some pictures :)
1677.jpg is the picture of the green-o-matic that has weird splotches on it....hard to tell from picture, I know. 1678.jpg is the green-o-matic that is looking best.

Thanks for the kind words and stay tuned for more to come! :) I always order my seeds from Attitude Seed Bank. Have used them 3 times and never once has it messed up. I always ship my order with a XL T-shirt for an extra 20 bucks to make sure it comes stealthily (they put the seed packets inside the shirt). No problems, ever. Use the discount code "420" it negates the extra 20 dollars you end up spending on stealth shipping ;)

As for temperature.....I'm still not using an A/C. Still just outside air. My light on for Flowering tent is 8pm-8am...while its dark. So far the hotest it's gotten here during my lights on cycle is 85F so I'm not worrying yet hahaha. When the end of May gets here is when I'm gonna start worrying. But I am going to upgrade my last un-air cooled light to make it air cooled (I'm air cooling with outside air remember--just an inline fan) which will really help matters. I'm looking into doing an Attitude order pretty soon actually just because I need to find some strains that are better acclimated to a hot, humid climate. :)
Always remember, if you can provide your plants with FRESH air, you can really grow even if your grow space gets hot....even up to around 95F. You just gotta keep fresh CO2 rich air moving around your space and NOT let it sit around and get stagnant. I'm looking into getting some strains that can finish in 7-8 weeks, can withstand around 70-75% humidity and can withstand 90F temperatures easily. Building rich soil can also help with temperatures, by the way.

Dude, yea you have no idea....hahaha before i bought either one of these tents, I was out taking measurements to make sure they would fit where i wanted to put them. Hell, when I got them, I completely forgot about the assembly process and how you gotta have a little more room than the tent takes up just to work around in and be able to put the damn thing up. Hahahaha luckily i got both to fit finally though, but it was one hell of a process. Thankfully im skinny as hell and was able to wiggle between the tent and wall to get the vinyl over the support poles of the tent

i read on here where someone was strugglig to put it together, It was pretty easy to put it together, Also i think they sent them the wrong "skin" for the support poles. Only thing i'm trying to figure out is how i'm going to hang my light's inside, I have to long of a chain ( 10 ft) the one's that came with the light were like 3 ft long. I'm thinking about just wrapping it around the support pole and just unhook it form light, un wrap some to lower it or wrap some up to raise it. I'm hoping that work's or gettin a better chain..any ideas?

Man I went with 2 ratchets per light....and im about to get another pair of ratchets to put my intake fan up top instead of having it take up grow space on the floor.....ratchets are the way to go in my opinion...each one can hold 75 pounds supposedly, and its literally WAY easier than chains or those bullcrap yoyo looking light hangers that are priced just about the same....here's what i got....I thought they were WAY more complicated than they really are....they have a release button on them to let you move the light down and then when you let go of the button when you found your right height it automatically locks....then if you went down a bit too far, you just pull on both ropes at the same time and they make clicking noises as they go up to make sure they are locked tight....really handy

Heck yea! I took El Nino out of the tent last night, so there is some extra room now for the auto's to stretch out and all of the branches to get full light. El Nino is getting trimmed tonight :)

Always make sure you start out with a good airy base soil mix to add the amendments to for the super soil mix. I'm having problems right now with my newer plants not liking this new base soil I am having to use....they shit looks great, but once it dries up even a little bit it gets hard as a brick almost. I hate this stuff....gotta save up a bit of money and drive 60 miles out of my way just to go search for Fertiloam soil (big red bags), because it is the best soil you can get around my area.

As for pH I'm really not sure what mine is....I never use a pH meter or anything. I just make sure to add a good amount of fine ground dolomite lime like the super soil recipe says. And if you are having to use regular tap water like me, set it out for a day and run some aquarium stones at the bottom to make sure you get rid of chlorine, because it wrecks havoc on pH. I try to sometimes buy Ozarka water (spring water) to use...I do this maybe 3 or 4 times during the flowering...and I ALWAYS flush with 4-5liters of Ozarka water because it makes the buds taste so clean later on down the line.

Chopped El Nino around 2am last night (27th) and was really happy with the results. Seems to be WAY more bud than 3D. Lots of trichomes...and a VERY different smell obviously due to very different genetics. I can't wait for this stuff to dry and cure, because it is going to be my stash for when I go to Beale Street Music Festival for Memphis in May next Friday for any of you guys down south hahahaha. Here's some pictures of two of the branches....most of the branches i got were the same size/same amount of bud, so looking like a sweet harvest :)

Gonna try and send a shot to high times magazine and see if they put a picture in their issue :)

That is efffin sweet bud right there!! I would send em to HT too!! Congrats on another awesome grow! The plant has that perfect, pretty green glow, my understanding of dolomite is that by itself the ph is 7, I usually drop my ph between 5.5-5.8 during wks 4 thru 6 to help mine take up more p n k because I thought that was the range where they (p and k) was best absorbed so im thinkin that sum of the amendments as they break down help lwr the ph even more than jst dolomite. I dunno! Jst thinkin, any insight would b apprec. Anyway u got sum dank lookin nugs, thnks for sharing!!

Yep dolomite not only makes the pH go to 7, it acts as a buffer, making large fluctuation in pH much less harmful. I always use plenty of iron , magnesium, calcium, and the N-P-K, just half strength Nitrogen during flowering and my leaves don't start yellowing and dropping until the last 2 weeks. I like to keep my soil pH right around 6.2-6.5 if at all possible even though I don't have a pH monitor, because it is the perfect ph level for all the NPK as well as micronutrients. So every once in a while I'll water my plants with some 8.0pH water just to make sure no salts have built up in the soil and to keep the pH at a good scale. 5.5-5.8 is a good scale if you were growing in hydroponics for those kind of nutrient uptakes....soil like a bit higher pH. Try to find some kelp and humic acid mix. I found some off of ebay and if you find either one of both mixed together it works wonders. Humic acid binds with the micronutrients like iron, zinc and magnesium making them more readily absorb-able by the plant so I do a tablespoon of humic/kelp mix per gallon of water during week 3 and week 5/6 of flowering depending on the strain. If I'm not mistaken Advanced Nutrients Nirvana has both kelp and humic in it but i give my plants a double dose and they don't seem to mind ;)

Anyway, off to get my hands dirty trimming Big Bang!!

Man my camera got dropped in some water so I'm currently trying to find one for super cheap...think i can get a decent one from a friend for 20 bucks or so, but yea I've harvested all 4 of the original plants. Went through 3D fast....was some good stuff! I'm currently smoking on some El Nino and have to say its great as well! Big Bang is almost dry and should be going into jars tomorrow. And Vortex is gonna get put in jars Friday. Should have smoke reports on all of them soon :)

The flowering tent currently has 4 Green-o-Matic, OG #18, and Pandora's Box....all of them looking great and all have buds showing now.
Think the Green-o-Matics will be done by May 20-30........OG is on day 22/70.....Pandoras Box is on day 13/70 (I'm just going with 70 as a safe number for both plants; its obviously prolly gonna be a little shorter....that's 10 weeks I know..)

As for the Mother Keeper....I had some really bad luck with this new soil I bought....its horrible for planting in pots/bags....clumps up and turns almost to cement when it gets dry. So yea I really screwed it all up buying that soil; gotta go get a different brand that I know is good; just a little more expensive. Lesson Learned: NEVER go with cheaper soil if you KNOW the more expensive soil already works well.
Got 3 sprouts barley holding on think its Cataract Kush, a green-o-matic, and possibly The Flav....but i might just start all over once I get new soil; they are looking really sick from this soil.

Ill try to get some pictures up either this week or next! Got a concert coming up this weekend so not sure if i will have time to get any up before then...
