5ftx5ftx6.5ft Grow Tent Suggestive CFM's

Hello guys n gals! I found this hydo calculator http://www.briteideashydro.com/calc-calculator.php to figure out some numbers. Just wondering if they are accurate for the dimensions I have listed it says 30 to 150. I have a 6in inline air duct fan that has a CFM of 240 and am in the market of getting a carbon filter with a CFM of 125 to 250. Does all this sound sufficient under a 400 watt hortilux super hps enhanced spectrum bulb?? [h=1][/h]

Yea am hoping so. I've always been a outdoor guy so trying to learn a few new tricks of the trade.

youll be good, if your just flowering underthe 400, i have a 36" active air, and 500 cfm vortex works like a champ in flower =)

that setup is perfect

i would get the biggest cfm filter you can fit in there without losing plant space.if you have to use a filter you dont want to choke out the fan with a small filter imo.something like this could be hung from the ceiling without stealing from the fan.gl.http://www.plantlightinghydroponics.com/phat-16x6-375-cfm-carbon-filter-p-3086.html

Could I set the fan directly in the top vent port of my tent and run a ten ft duct to the carbon filter on the outside of the tent?

yes,but i wouldnt do it that way.

yeah you COULD, but it wont work to kill the smell as good, you gotta pull the room air thru it and then out of the room, not from the room PUSHED THRU It. AS WELL i dont know why it doesnt work as good, but i tried BOTH ways AND ended up pulling thru the filter then out =) check out my grow, i have TONS OF PICS
