5g Buckets.

I have my babies currently growing in 2g fabric pots. But I want to move them to these.(below) Now they are 37 days. And I’m not going to move them untill 50 days or more. Reason because I’m trying to get the soil better in ph for flower. So I guess what I’m asking is or saying, I think I am going to run into a light problem with the height. Since the buckets are are tall.
Might have to switch the 5gallon to short ones or so I let them grow in the 2 gallons? I want the best for them. Lol
Or I guess I could also train them in the 5g. And find some short wires for the lights
Light height is about 3ft8in from ground. Plants 10in on from floor.
Tent 3x4x5,10”
so that’s 2ft 10 inch of distance between light and plants
1ft 10 in of space up top. ( of wasted space) and the 3 hook don’t help.

the 5g are 15in tall

what y’all think. Can I train these babies? Or switch. Or I’m good? Lol
so many decisions
Thanks in advance. I’ll take all the input.

I am using a 2 x 4 x 5 tent now with the 5 gallon 15" tall buckets and am making it work. You have an additional 10" so you will be fine.

Train them via the SCROG method to manage their height and still get good yields. You have a trellis netting in place - keep 4" - 6" between the tops of the buckets and the net. Gives you room to water them and do plant maintenance / pruning. When they start to poke through the netting by a few inches, you can weave the branches laterally through the mesh until the net is filled. Then start the reduction in lights on time to induce flowering which seems to help keep the stretch a little more under control.

What blurples are you using?
