So gave the 3/4 dose of cha ching and they all seemed to take it quite well... No yellowing or any signs of stress.... Yet... How long would it take to see the signs of frying em? Gave two plain RO water today bc they were dry...
That is the worst thing you could be doing for those beautiful buds man. They don't need all that phosphorous, you're going to end up burning them. The roots are established, the structure of the plant is set, all it needs to finish is potassium with
trace amounts of phosphorous. That '
fire' people speak of when they '
don't flush' is most likely due to excessive phosphorous.
If you take nothing else from this conversation, please remember this. Phosphorous is for (vegging) building roots and flower sets (calyxes) which will not get large and develop buds without Potassium. Nitrogen is for building leaves and stems (vegging) and Potassium is for building flowers (flowering) and assists in the uptake of calcium, which adds weight and density to the buds.
