5x5 best light?

I'd throw a 1000 watt HPS in there for $175 and call it a day. But I'm cheap. I don't like spending money I don't have to for the same end result. And I know this is the LED section and I mentioned HID but I referred you here and it looks like you're getting responses so I get a pass. :mrgreen:

It's not just light that is going to determine yield it's also strain and other things. So think about that. Just getting the so called "Best" light is not going to guarantee huge yields. There are many other factors that are going to determine the final weight of your grow.

You could spend over $1000 on a light and some guy could grow the same strain with a cheap HPS and blow your grow away. Don't get focused on one aspect of growing. It's a combination of everything that leads to big yields of quality cannabis. Not just the light. A light won't work miracles if other things are not optimum. You can't just flip a switch with a new light and suddenly get massive increases in your yields unless you're a damn good grower and everything else dialed in.

I mean...... I do have a 1000w XXXL magnum sun system hood (se) but I wana get away from that

Ok watch .just ordered the slim 650s tent arrives Monday for shits I’ll post the entire grow on this thread we shall see

I’ll be honest that top you pulled there looks undercooked from what I see. I mean you’re claiming a lot and still going on about flushing. That one picture where you started flushing at week six hopefully you let it go for a good bit before pulling that down. Also trying to figure out why you would want to flush. As for fohse I’m going to see what their lights are all about. Talked to them a few days ago. I’m going to pull the trigger on 12-15 of those a 1500 watt monsters and put them in one of my rooms to see what they’ll do.

I never flush I’ll go back and re read my post but that one grow with week 6 out of 12 was a wash we had 3 weeks on non stop rain in my area at the time and I was un experienced enough to fuck it proper so no way to tell what I would have yeilded, as for the white widow I believe I let her go just a tad under 14 weeks counting day 1 as flip day, iv heard some people who grow ilgm ww state some times they get one that takes 16 weeks to properly finish so you might be correct on chopping to soon I just couldn’t wait any longer

Oh ok I gotcha now lol ya by flush I meant flushed the whole crop down the shitter...... fucking heart breaking.......but no way I’m guna put my name on something sub par,that I know has fuzz on it......I might be an ass hole with a detrimental amount of pride but I’m not a greedy sack of shit so I flushed it all and started over

Also I wish you luck with them man truth be told if I had The Tall ceilings needed for them I would have went with that instead of the Optic 650s,I’d love to see what a 5000$ light could grow that would be the bees knees
