1 1000watt HID would cover it but two 600 watts would do nice in there if you got the cash for both lights. Depends no what lights you use as to what fans to get. I run a 750CFM fan and love it.

1000w HPS is the most common simple setup, but not the best, not nearly.

If you want the best, you need:
60% Reds (HPS or Warm white LEDs)
25% Blues (6500k LED, 6500k Florescent, MH)
10% UVA/Deep Blue (from UVB bulbs and 6500k option)
5% UVB (5w per sqft of UVB 10% florescent bulb)

Most efficient to Least efficient:
Reds: 1. Cree CXA/B LEDs with best cooling and drivers (expensive), 2. Very close, tie, HPS/CXA/B with common cooling/drivers, 3. Other LED options, 4. Florescent T5/T8, 5. LED bulbs, 6. CFL Bulbs, 7. Junk LEDs and other things that shouldn't be used

Blues: 1. Cree CXA/B LEDs, 2. Other LEDs, 3. MH, 4. Florescent

UVA/Deep Blues: 1. Coral MH bulbs, 2. Coral and UVB florescent bulbs

UVB: 1. T5/T8/Tanning Bulbs, 2. CFL

I would pick the most efficient of each type that you can afford and build out a light setup that others can't come close to matching.

the entire 5x5 space. 1000 watt super hps is probably the cheapest and lowest powered light you can use.

2 x 600w hid would be best, but i couldnt get that to fit well in a 5x5 tent. So i went with a 1000w hid. I did well with it.

You will need to cool it with a 6" inline fan. Run ducting from outside the tent through a hood then out. Youll also need to get fresh air in there. Maybe a 4" axial fan to pump it in + a 4" inline fan on a filter to exhaust the tent (need a speed controller to dial that exhaust fan down a bit to avoid too much neg pressure.

With that set up i did 4 plants vegged for 4-5 weeks before flipping to flower and i was consistently pulling 23-26 ounces with an indica dominant strain.

And i was a noob then...

I see I'll probably just buy a 1000w than but when there in the veg state should I be using like 400w

2 600w can go on one breaker but that would be about it ...........u are going to need atleast 2 15 amp breakers 3 if u are using a powerful AC

Note that he said one BREAKER. There's several outlets in one breaker so make sure nothing else is operating on it or the breaker will trip and lights out. Or worse...fire...if the electrical is wonky...

I know an electrician should I just tell him to add a 60amp breaker to the box and a new outlet to the room and just plug everything to a surge protector and run in it through that outlet

Running it all through a surge protector will just put all the load on that breaker and it will still trip it when overloaded.

I almost ran a 60amp sub, but instead i found room in my main box to install 2 double 20 amp breakers, giving me 4 20amp outlets. It was a lot easier....

what Gquebed said .......plus 60 amp breaker on crap wire only rated for 15 amps (20 if u did over code) u are asking for a fire

it is much simpler just to have several breakers assign them gear spreading out the amps to several breakers ..........honestly should only need 2 15/20 amp breakers 3 if u have a AC unit for that area
1 for lights 2 600w
1 for fans and other gear
1 for AC /Heating
3 breakers

get a 1000w dimmable and 600w mh bulb. Veg with mh (low setting on ballast @600w) flower from week 2 with 1000w bulb... Most simple.

I would advise against buying a gorilla grow tent if you haven't already purchased it. They may use thicker material, but the build quality of their tents is shoddy. I'd recommend Apollo horticulture tents, just as feature rich, better build quality, but the material is slightly thinner.

My $0.02, YMMV.

Really? I've heard nothing but good things about gorilla. I'll have to check out apollo
The one I ordered has loose threads all throughout, two of the vertical poles and one of the corners were missing holes for the detents. Finally the paint on most of the poles were chipped and the exposed metal was rusting. Right off the bat I had to drill, polish and paint... Left a very sour taste in my mouth considering the price.
