5x5 Tent with HLG 550v2 RSpec..Kush Berry..Northern Berry and West Coast Sour Diesel

Hey guys just starting my first grow in 4 years.. got myself a 5x5 tent... should be here by now but it’s not....got my HLG 550v2 RSpec...just showed up today it it’s crazy bright wow... I got 6 sour diesel plants which have already sprouted and were under a cheap Home Depot led light for the weekend... got them under the hlg just in the basement for now. Got the light at just over 3 feet and just slightly dimmed. My peakseedsbc northern berry and kush berry showed up today as well so I got them in the paper towel. Growing in coco coir with perlite and will be using remo nutrients just waiting for them to show up as well. I got a fan blowing on them right now and the temp is about 19 Celsius with an rh of about 35. Once the tent shows up I kno it will raise the temp quite a bit.. have an in-line fan with the tent as well. Looks ghetto right now but once the tent shows up should be able get it looking nice. Any advice or tips from anyone would be great??

I use two HLG550 V2 R-specs in my 5'x9'....LOVE THEM!

Yea I read up quite a bit before i bought it so I hope everything turns out. I only have one 2 plant grow under my belt from 4 years back. Cheap Mars led and crop king seeds. This time I read into the seeds and light a bit more and choose peakseedsbc and the hlg light.

I wish it was a bit warmer but I don’t kno how to raise the temp as I’m in the basement and it’s unfinished. Like I said when the tent comes I know it will be warmer in there but for now am I ok?? Sitting at 67 and 32 rh right noww

The tent will probably get about 5° - 10° warmer than the room.

A small portable heater will work for you and you need your rh higher for veg. Good luck

Once I’m in the tent I’m guessing the humidity will rise quite a bit no? It will be here within the week.. I was gonna just leave them till the tent came and I got it all set up or do you really think i should really get a Heater and/or humidifier going?

Make sure your guys aren't sitting directly on the ground. Have them raised on a pallet or something. Hell even busted down cardboard boxes can insulate. Basement floors are cold.

They also sell seedling germinating mats. Also known as heat mats.

Got them raised a bit now on some card board And they got that saucer under them so they should be good thanks for tip!

Couple more have sprouted up.. I noticed some colours on the ones leaves but not sure what it is.. gonna get those other seeds in the dirt tonight as the tap roots have sprouted.

Hey guys.. so my peakseedsbc have taken off for the amount of time they been in the ground..well I think so anyway. The sour diesel is looking nice though to. I started to feed everything with remo grow, micro, velokelp, and Magnifical at 25% to start yesterday and figured I would go up from there. Ppm was 450 after nutrients and ph was 6.4. Also am using the velokelp and the magnifical as a foliar spray and using each of those once a day at a strength of 3 ml per 500ml or water. Is that to much? Do I need to foliar feed them and water them the same stuff like that or is it a waste? Anyways any tips or hints or advice would be greatly appreciated. Waiting for my tent still but it will be here within a couple days forsure. For now I got my temps pretty steady at 21-22 in the day and a low of 17 at night. My humidity is 38 or so and I know that a little low but I’m counting on it increasing when my tent comes. First pics are of the kushberry and the northern kush. First close up is the northernberry which is nice and purple. Next closeup is the kushberry. Next tray is all west coast sour diesel from med man. The peakseedsbc seem to be gaining on them quick but they also started under the Hlg Instead of cheap homedepot seedling light. Thanks guys please advice is wanted.

Well finally got my tent set up. Temp has increased to about 25-26 with the light on but the humidity has only fallen if anything.. right now we are at 30...ordered a humidifier which will be here next week... other then that I kept feeding the plants the 25 percent mixture and they seem to be loving it so far. Slowed down on the foliar feeding but I still squirt them once a day what the hell. What you guys think? How’s it look? Gotta attach the carbon filter still but that’s it.

Hey guys... got my humidifier today and set it up... got my rh to 60% now... all the plants seem to be really healthy other then a couple that started showing a little bit of nutrient burn so I backed off on them. The rest are all getting a daily feeding at 25 percent strength and seem to be thriving. Here are some pics any advice about anything would be appreciated. First close up is of the west coast sour diesel and the second is of peakseedsbc...last closeup is of the kushberry specifically.

Hey guys so about a week later today.. got them transplanted into bigger pots cuz they were struggling a bit and got the nutes up to 70 percent.

Hey what’s up everyone... topped the plants twice last week and they seem to be doing good..I started noticed a cal mag deficiency Im pretty sure and corrected and seems to be corrected. I picked up a dehumidifier for the basement today a 40 pint bionaire and opened my tent up a bit so i got the humidity down to 70 but I really don’t know how I’m gonna get it down to 45 for flower... here are some pics I just took before lights out.. each plant is represented in two pictures.. a top view and a side view.. any advice is appreciated. 9 plants. First is kushberry... 2nd third and 4th are the sour diesel.. 5th is northernberry.. 6th and 7th are kushberry and 8th and 9th are northernberry. Nutes are all at 12 ml per 2 gallons... foiler feeding with the velokelp and the Magnifical. Water ph has been at 5.6-5.8 and temp has been a steady 25-27 with lights on and about 21 with lights off.. rh is at 70-75 now with light on and with light up it was up to 95 last night but it also rained outside so we’ll see if they dehumidifier and lack of rain help tongiht.
