6 26 watt cfls good enough???

If your just growing 3 plants then you definitly should be good with 12 26 watt cfl lamps. Just make sure the lamps are daylight BLUE for veg = 6500k and for flowering use the 26 watt soft reddish color = 2700k for flowering. If your having problems with the light not penetranting the bottom buds, just trim a few fan leaves and you should be good. I personally grow with a 400 watt hps with a 400 watt mh conversion bulb. When I first started growing, I grew with CFL, because it was much cheaper than buying HID. The CFL grows always produced good quality fruit, but with a yield much less than with HID. If this is your first grow I suggest starting out with CFL, because most first time growers are on a budjet like I was. Also, I know everyone says HID is the best which is true, but it is alot more expensive. The light bulbs are not cheap the setup itself is expensive and you definitly need moving air so really good fans come into play. I do not sell any of my dope, it's simply for personal use and that's the way it should be. Well HAPPY GROWING, PEACE.....

i use 6 26w's, i pulled 2o's off 2 plants, ramping it up this time

in my short grow i would have to say you will veg ur ass off w 6 23 watt 6500's id say. (from my one plant experience)

its the flower thats difficult to me so far with 2 42's and 4 26's and 1 20 watt 24" phillips .......

Go to lowes and pick up 8 65 watt cfl 2700k 150 watt equivalent cfls for 8 bucks a piece. Done deal!!

idk which lowes you go to but the one at my house .... the 65 watt cfls are 24$

Then go to wal mart and buy 12 23 watt soft white 2700k

Yo JIMDANDY word up. Good for you if you grow with HPS and it works for you more power to ya. I grow with 8 42 watt cfl's ..one set for veg and one for flowering. I grew 5 plants and got about 4.5oz off of it total and I didnt complain. It was nice dense bud, smoked nice, smelt fine and got me stoned. Cfl works for me and it did not cost that much money at all.
