6 dwc under one 600w hps light? Is this possible

Hi, this is my first grow and I am curious if its possible to put 6 5 gal. Dwc under one 600w bulb. I intend on letting them veg until they are 3ft. Tall or so. Right now I have a 6 light t5 lamp. Is that sufficient lighting to veg these as well? I will probably buy another one though too. My veg room is 4x4x7 and my flower room is 4x7x7. I want to grow some real monster plants with the dwc but I'm ok with just good results my first time. I appreciate any suggestions or comments. Thanks.

600w should be perfect for that space. Rule of thumb I use is 100w per plant regardless of what light type. The t5 fixture you have will be fine until the plants are 1 foot tall I would think, but you will get better results putting them under 600w as soon as you can

Yes, but it depends on how long you veg them. I actually thought 6 was too much when I tried it. I like the 2-3 range better. The bud was of more uniform quality.

Ok great. I am trying soil right now. I have 20 two week old northern lights and ice seedlings right now. Pretty sure I overwatered them lol because they are looking a little ruff right now and curling down? Under that I have a 3x2x3 hydro grow box all in one with a 400w light. I want to start using this for hydro maybe. If I grow it all in that won't the plants outgrow the unit during flowering? Or maybe just 3 in there? 3 dwc? I am only allowed 6 flowering plants legally as of right now so I am trying to make the most of it. Thanks.
