thats what I'm hoping for, fingers crossed....if everything keeps going well I'm shootin to have around 7 lbs at harvest.those are fucking huge with thick stems they look like its gonna be a pound a plant
well I just checked the label and it says it kills "mites" it didn't say termites but I'm willing to bet they fall under that category. I'd say its worth trying, its safe stuff and suppose to be really potent shit. I just sprayed them today then i will drench the roots one more time in another week, then do one final spray a week after that tho. It says apply every 7-10 days for a total of three applications or until pests are under control. I'm doing 4 apps tho because Im spraying and drenching...I don't wanna take any chances here.volcom, I wonder if that Azamax would kill termites?

Drenching sounds like it should get to them. I was always leary about using any kind of insecticide as a drenching for fear of damage. No plant shock or burn huh? I'll look into that stuff. Thx, slabheadwell I just checked the label and it says it kills "mites" it didn't say termites but I'm willing to bet they fall under that category. yea it was scary watering my plants with that stuff for sure, but it has a chart table that shows mix ratios for drench applications and i just mixed up the highest dosage and crossed my fingers, but I really felt as tho if it didnt work most of my crop would fall due to these worms so yea.Drenching sounds like it should get to them. Yeah, next year move a good male or two into that wild area. If any comes back up next time. It might not since it didn't seed this year.
I never checked back on thread, wow, terrible news. Just cut it out? Is there any chance cutting stem will kill my plant? This sucks to hear. This is my first grow and I feel like I just found out my baby is handicapped. But still looking good for nowIf you found this, then you have to cut them out. They will eat eat shit their way up to the colas and eventually ruin them.
Take a razor and cut at the buldge. That is where the worm is. After just garden tape it back together. The tops will be uneffected by the cutting.
I had a huge problem last year.
Spraying after they are inside will have no effect on them. Plants need to be sprayed before so they die before they can enter.
Are there usually multiple worms in there? How do I know if I got them all?(sorry to derail your thread)
there are usually more than one...lol its been a battle for me but i hope to have it taken care of for good very soon.
bah its all good. Yea next year I will be ready for them before they get here for sure, but yea location also has a lot to do with what your fighting against sometimes.Sorry for jacking your thread Vrider. But yeah, this year I have taken the proper steps to BE one step ahead of the bugs. Different location this season but I'm not taking any chances I don't have to.
I'm hoping when i get done with my azamax treatments the worms wont even be an issue. I'd say they smell pretty skunky for sure. Those r some fine beauties... The Armageddons gonna produce some potent buds. The problem with the pests drilling holes in your power skunk is the same problem my plant had my last 2 growing seasons ago. I used some ant killers and sum onnion peelings around my plant and it fixed the problem. By the way what does the power skunk smell like? just curious!
