nice..! but

I'd be cautious about using such thin thread to tie stems back

in time it will easy stop the flow of xylem,

I suggest a rubber band ties to the stem and then to your thread, or even tape

plates under is a good idea to catch excess water, but pools of water will encourage gnats and raise Rh.

above all like so many newbies here you leaf out the details,

currently imo, the plants indicate way to much 6500k light and not any balanced 2700k light to encourage vertical growth

but maybe thats ur style ..

early days ..good luck

The string i used is rubber and very soft.
the trays catch all the water that drains, but the soil absorbs the excess water within 5-7 minutes, so no pools sit for a period of time. I water the girls with one gallon of water at a time, and they probably could use a little more water at each time but they are just doing fine.
But quite frankly I don't follow you on the light perspective... too much 6500k and not balanced 2700k lighting?

Did you top your purple og, or do any other training to her besides LST? So far would you grow her again? The garden looks great!

Yes I did top the purple og, also i won't know until harvest if I would grow the purple again. The purple does grow really nice and uniform, for veg and flower I like the way it grows, but I will let you know at the end to see how she turns out.

How do you know he is a newbie? Honestly you sound like the newbie talking about his lateral growth has nothing to do with his lighting its called topping and training!Hater would like to see 1 OF YOUR RUNS just saying!!
