5 plant trim 3.5 pounds dry with 5 1/2 weeks mag ballast veg i believe its very doable i used 34 gallon totes i did 7 3/4 pound with 12 plants 3 k with tons of cropping
so with that said veg 8 weeks 6 plants could hit 4.5 - 5+ pounds pretty easy
There is no way to shake it longer veg time and decent yielding strain some say you can do 2 grows in that time but remember yields will be infact incredibly smaller so end result with 2 grows is less then that one big tree grow Its a sacrifice a grower gets dscf3850d.jpg gallery_11738_4815_996222.jpg gallery_11738_4816_87674.jpg gallery_11738_4816_339701.jpg dscf3850d.jpggallery_11738_4815_996222.jpg gallery_11738_4816_87674.jpg gallery_11738_4816_339701.jpg

Gj darth looks like a good yield. But back to what I originally stated. You'll require a good veg time.

Lol I can hit 5 lbs with 2 single ended bulbs. Probably more with the DE systems but not enough to make it worth it to change my entire system for de's. I have a buddy who is running 8 DE lights all 1k an we produce the same.
That's a shitload. Do you run certain strains or use co2? I bet you can probably eventually end up hitting 4 with De bulbs.. dudes are hitting 7 to 8 with 2 gavitas. I hear!

2.5 - 3 pounds is normal these days nothing new about it with a single 1k shit when people are hitting 2 pounds with 432 watts of T5 Ho any thing is possible but you want to hit 6 pounds expect 8 weeks veg and 2000 watts with lots of training and under canopy work gallery_11738_4816_17019.jpg

the last picture is not mine i use totes 5 gallon totes for training etc then 30 + gallon totes for last week of veg and flowering

i had some extra clones that were suppose to be sold guy never showed up so just planted them into 5 gallon totes n flipped :) shit 2 k and still got 4 pounds but like 16 plants if i remember correctly gallery_11738_4815_2228341.jpggallery_11738_4816_72830.jpg dscf4402y.jpg

I run a 3 month cycle per room. That includes veg and flower period so over a period of a month I'd pull an entire crop more then what was suggested. An to be quite frank im hitting 4.5 to 5 lbs per 2k anyways. I run 9 to 12 plants per light depending on strain an what not as well.

By no means am I bagging on your methods, but if I did the math correctly. While your hitting your 7.75lbs per 4 months. 8 weeks veg 8 weeks flower off 3k your roughly hitting 31lbs a year. Which is all regards a great fuckin year for anyone. While in the mean time I cut my veg time by an entire month an hit 2.5lbs or if i do a little better 2.75 to 2.8 per light. Which is still 7.5lbs a harvest in 3 months at the least. So in the mean time per year I can choke out roughly 1 harvest more. Which adds up to 30 lbs if im only hit ting 2.5 a light. So in the end. I might be closer to a full lb more per year. If I'm doing the math right.

Well if your math is right and youre getting 1 extra pound per year then on a 32 lb year youre bettering the other method by about 3%.

And that theoretical 3% difference could be easily lost or won in any number of ways...

To me it is 6 of one thing and a 1/2 dozen of the other...

When it comes down to it, it's all about preferred method of growing an in all cases it's not necessarily a competition either. It's about what suits your needs. An if I can pull an extra harvest in between all that down time, that's what I will do only cause if I was doing his method by the end of a month I'd be out already an therefore for my needs in particular my method suits me the best.

To the OP, six plants, five pounds, aint gonna happen. If your asking how it can happen, it wont. Sorry to crush your dreams. And none of these guys are running one pound indoor plants that ive seen. Someone said earlier that it would take a two month veg....ya right, try a five month veg. The best bet youll have at pulling this off would be with at least three thousand watts...or four. And a dwc system running out of 27 gallon totes or garbage cans like one of our members, legallyflying, is running. For a new grower its not a reality. I call it like i see it and i aint here to blow smoke up your ass. It can be done but it takes forever to get the plants there and that means expensive. Hows seven months of paying before you see any return sound? You also need a strain that yeilds heavy, that people want, and that can grow that big. Some strains wont grow that big, they stall out, and what if the product is shit? Seven months worth of sniklefritz? You have a lot to think on.
I wish you luck but i also want you to know that i would never even try to pull that with five lights and six plants. Its way to much expectation for six plants. Good luck man, your gonna need it.

To the OP - How IRONIC.....

I'm currently setting up a 6 plant site utilizing a RDWC- under current with 4 gavita HPS, 1 gavita PLASMA for supplemental, 1 Illumitex Neo Sol DS, and 4 T5's, alongside a fertigator setup to feed the plants via a custom feeding schedule by PH & PPM, full RO system with uv sterilization & De-ionization = Clean Water = 0ppm, Natural GAS CO2 burner plumbed in, dedicated 30K btu AC/heat pump, water chiller for nutrient rez and RDWC system, carbon filter mounted to ceiling, quest De-humidifier, automated valves, automated lighting to mimic the sunrise and sunset effect - ie the sun setting - the light dims, etc.

GENETICS GENETICS GENETICS......lol

This is where you need to start in my opinion if you wanna get real.

..........roll it up!
