most of those colas are still throwing out new pistils and will need 4 weeks or so. a couple of the colas look more mature and could be cut earlier. do you have a microscope to check the trichomes ? worth the $10 investment to tell when the trichomes have changed color.

They not rdy for at least 2-3 weeks. Looking at the trichs will sometimes fool you as trichs can be amber allready in week 5-6...the amber in trichs go in "waves". I go for the overall appearance. What strain is it, is it late 6th week or just begun?

Today is 6 weeks.. strain is "gods gift","jack flash", and "blue berry hogsbreath". medi grow. They have about 50% amber hairs, but it seems like they need to swell up more...im using a 400w hps.

Buds don't look like they are swollen enough from the pics dont know what the dude said about trichs being amber comes in waves is all about. Trichs start out clear then cloudy then when the plant is put all her energy to survive is the last stage of flowering. Which is as potent as she will get. Then its downhill and she will lose potency. Thers a window there. Your buds look like they need to swell. Make sure your light is on them close enough. 400 W. is adiquit but keep it close about 8" with A/C involded.

is that 6 weeks from lights 12/12 or 6 weeks from first pistil growth? There's a big difference there, 6 weeks from first light might really only be 4.5 or 5 weeks of real flowering.

you should take a coupple of sample nugs and quick cure them to smoke for now to hold you over till they are fully ripe.thats what i do so i wont pick to early. you also get different highs from diffrent stages of ripeness
