600 or 1000 hps

i am in the process of setting up a 3.5' by 6' by 9' tall grow area was thinking of using 3.5'x4' for a flowering area and the rest of the veg area. im thinking 12 plants in 5 gallon bubble ponic system was gonna veg them for 3 weeks since the strain is whiterhino and it takes 9 weeks so i would have a steady crop every 3 weeks i have been debating on weither or not to get a 600 watt hps or a 1000hps for the flowering area with they work for the rotation

If your ambient temp is low and you have good ventilation go for the 1000. BUT I have made the mistake of shoving a 1000 into a tent to small and shit gets hot real quick. IMO I would get 600 especially because you are going to have additional lights in your veg area.

1000w if you can afford the extra power bill or the extra cost in venting the heat out

Id go 600 watt light with a good sized low bay reflector. the prime 600 watt cover is 4x4 but in your space it should cover just as well. the 1000 watter will get hot and use more then you ll end up getting out of it in that space.

If you can't keep it cool..maybe you should work on your conceptual design..save up some money and get your room straight before attempting to grow

forgot to mention i have 1 5 inch fan for the hps and a 5 inche exhaust for the room and a 4 inch intake for the flower room

12 plants in 5 gallon buckets might be too many, they'll overgrow the 3.5 x 4 space pretty fast.
