Ok I am putting together everything I need to build a successful grow cabinet. I plan i using a Stor-It-All cabinet that i can get for free at my work. The dimensions are 70 3/8"H X 47 1/2"W X 20 1/2"D. Here is a link to the cabinet URL="http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=83870-444-WS48MP"]http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=83870-444-WS48MP[/URL]
I want get rid of the center divider and use the large bottom section for flowering with a 600 watt HPS in a cool tube and use the top section for clones and a few bonsai moms under flouros. I understand that heat is an issue so i want to use this fan. http://www.hvacquick.com/spfnconfig.php?fm=td The 8 inch one to 500ish cfm. The questions i am trying to deal with is do you think this is enough ventilation for the low height. I am gonna flower from clones to keep keep the plants small in a SOG. Also how to set up the ventilation. I was thinking about putting the fan in the top corner of the clone/mother chamber in its own box with carpet on the sides to deaden the noise. I was thinking of having it hooked up to a splitter with 2 6" ends and running one pulling air from outside through the cool tube and one pulling the air through a carbon filter and then back outside. Do you think that is a good idea or should i just have it go carbon filter cooltube fan then outside. i really dont want to have to buy 2 fans but i will do what i have to. I am going to use pc fans to vent the clone chamber.
