600 watt hps grow

Hi there, was wondering about peoples exp on 600w grows. Can people post examples of yields and include info such as, soil/hydro, tent size, were cfl's also used, pot size, and strain..... also how much exp the grower has. It will be something new for me and this is the wattage I want to use and debating on tent size. Just trying to compare. Only grows I have ever done were random cfl grows and a outdoor grow. Thank you all

use the search feature of the forum. there are hundreds, if not thousands of grows with 600w lights... they are very easy to find

My first indoor grow was with a 600w HPS. I had 5 plants per light (2 lights, but in different rooms). I got better than a half pound total, over a QP per light (5-6 oz) of good quality flower just like my dispensary offers for $225/oz.
I knew I wasn't near my limit though, so I didn't get too worried about weighing everything exactly. Just gotta keep it legal.

I used 3 gallon pots,, FFOF, and AN Sensi A&B plus some of their other stuff. I would have yielded more, but I barely vegged those clones at all, maybe a couple weeks. About half my soil didn't even have roots haha so a longer veg would've been good.

For a single 600, I personally think a tent 4' wide x 4' deep x as high as possible is best. Maybe not those measurements exactly, but right around there somewhere.
