    Hydro doing Lady's and gents. Time to start my spring harvest. I'll be doing a hydro grow as this my preferred method of growing. I've got a lot of grows under my belt so I thought I put one up on one of my favorite growing site. So sit back and roll up and smoke1. Here's the list and setup.

    4x2 grow tent
    600w mh & hps (I've got LEDs and fl tubes if needed)
    5 gallon bucket
    GH drip ring
    GH flora duo nutes

    It's actually been a total of 3 weeks including week1 in the propagation tray.

    Week 1 in bucket ppm 300

    Week 2 ppm 450


    So far everything thing is going great I'm going to bump my ppm higher on the next res change. I will probably scrog this plant as well. I've done another Scog before but I didn't do enough trimming under the canopy so this will be another learning curve as well. I will try to update weekly or bi-weekly if anything exciting happens

    Well this little lady is liking her the added nutes I gave her on Monday. I'm using an 8" net pot and she just barely had one root sticking out the side. Now she has about four very long roots almost to the bottom of the bucket. Whoop whoop that's a very good sign for good things to come here is a pic of my girl

    You see the growth she's put on since Monday. My oh my.

    I guess you guys are probably wondering how I'm going to scrog with the bucket system. I'm going to be using the RWDWC method. I've done a similar system using 2" uniseals but I have that setup for my bigger tent which is not up at the moment. So I will be constructing this one for the 4x2 tent using 1" tubing and fittings. So be on the lookout for what's coming next. Also since the scrog screen I have now is for my 4x4 tent I will be building one for this setup also with pics of both just in case anyone is interested

image.jpeg image.jpeg Well just did a res change and everything is still going great. Ph and ppm' pretty much stayed the same. She is drinking and eating as she should. She is rooting good as well. I bumped my nutrients up to 1000 ppm from 700 ppm. I will see how she handles this as 1100 to 1200 is my target through the grow and flower stage. Well here are some pics just to keep y'all updated

image.jpeg Well I can't help so here it goes. Another pic of this beautiful lady. She is taking the uptake in nutrient solution so all is good. I was thinking of adding an autoflower and sit her in soil but I doubt it

image.jpegimage.jpeg Hydros growing :bigjoint: I had to snap another pic of this beautiful little lady. She is really starting to grow and spread out. The roots are popping out of the net pot like crazy. She is eating like crazy. I just added another 1 1/2 gallons of h2o no nutes so everything seems to be going great. I'm not sure if anyone is ready my post but me but oh well I guess it's just my personal journal. Ph has pretty much remained the same, it has risen to 6.1 which is fine as I like it to get the full range. Ppm has remained flat at 1000 so that's good. I'm going to be constructing my res bucket and my scrog screen hopefully this weekend weather permitting. Well with out further a doo here she is.

image.jpeg image.jpeg Hydros growingbongsmilie as promised I have started my under current recirculating system. I'm constructing this using a simple setup with 1" fittings and tubing. You can find all these supplies at your local hydro store or ebay. I'll be using a 400gph inline pump to circulate the system. This setup is crucial since I will be trying my hand again with the scrog. This is by far the most important part of doing a scrog imo in DWC as we all know it's difficult to change and access your water. I have to make a trip to the hydro store to get some tubing so I will return in a blaze :fire:( pun intended).

Hydros growing :weed: . Well I have completed my Undercurrent Recirculating Deep Water Culture system. As stated this is totally DIY system where everything can be purchased at your local hydro store, your local Big box store, or Ebay. A lot of the items I had already had but I would say the most expensive pieces was the buckets. The tubing and fittings were well under $50. The whole setup I would say is about a $125 including inline/submersible pump. I really think Current Culture systems look great but for the price of 1 months mortgage I find it pretty difficult to come off that type of bread. So here is my setup which by the way is expandable also, simply just add more buckets.

Thank Ziggo as you're the first guest to enter my grow room. Welcome. I guess I'm not having any issues so people are not chiming in but I'm glad to have you peeking in. I've got my system setup a just doing my leak test before I place it in my tent and so far everything seems to be going great. My lady will be waking at 6pm est so I will be doing my res change and introducing Mrs. Blue to her new home. I will do my scrog screen tomorrow and will begin to do my stress training. I will be bumping my ppms to about 1200 today but so far she is taking everything I've given her thus far with no problems. Later on in flower I will be setting up some extra lighting probably my 600w mars hydro led. Ziggo don't be a stranger your welcome to stop by anytime just to see what's popping.

Well I got my baby in her new bed and she looks comfy. I did a res change and I have the ppms at 1500. It's a little more than I wanted but that's after I added Calmag, my nutrients prior to adding Calmag was spot on at 1200 which was my target. I went from about 3 gallons to about 7 gallons with the new system so I think I've got it spot on. Well here's some pics of the system at workimage.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

Well this little lady is just beautiful. I have not had any problems what so ever. She has taken everything I've thrown at her. It just seems as if she just gets bigger by the day. And with her showing her beauty I might as well treat her like the true queen that she is, and be her personal paparazzi and just take photos image.jpegimage.jpeg

I've never seen a one station RDWC system before but hell, it seems to work just the same just on a smaller scale. She looks sexy and full. My grow isn't looking quite as sexy at all, but it's my first hydro rodeo.

I plan on getting my feet wet w/ hydro as soon as I get moved at the beginning of February. It's going to be pretty budget, with just a 600w MH/HPS light and some HO T5 for the babies. So this grow is right in line with what I plan on doing. Although, I am going to mainline instead of SCROG a couple of fem'd Humboldt Blue Dreams. If I can find where I stashed my other seeds, I might run a Barney's Tangerine Dream I never got around too. I can have blue and orange dreams.

I like the simplicity of this design and I have seen the results people can get out of it. So I'll be keeping up with this grow since Smoke 1 is a month out in front.

Bluntsmith welcome to my grow room and ziggo glad to have you back. Bluntsmith not sure if you have a thread on here but I'll check your profile and see if I could chime in. Hell thats what this community is all about right, showing off our sexy ladies and getting help so we all can grow banging weed. Ziggo sounds like your right on point as well, I have a Barneys TD that I got from Attitude as a freebie that I haven't used. So when you get setup I'd love to sit in your grow room. One thing about growing there are sooo many techniques you can apply to get bigger and happier plants. My last scrog I was using my Mars hydro LED but this time I'll be using my 600w hps so I'm hoping I'll get a much bigger yield. I have a lot of different seeds but I also want to try and clone this one so stay tuned for that coming soon.

So many different techniques, it's hard to settle down and pick one. lol. I'm just devouring information until the day comes.

Everybody seems to love aero cloning, I'll probably DIY a little one to play with. I am such a scrounger and pretty anti-consumerism so I almost always find things second hand. Except consumable items(bulbs, nutes, etc.) I like to make sure those are brand spanking new.

i bought my two tents, nutes, clone incubator, a couple 1000w lights and ballasts (which I sold for LED), timers, pH stuff, blah blah blah, all off one dude on craigslist. i've sure bought a lot of shit since then, but it saved me money for shit that i would have had to have purchased anyway.

Bluntsmith I have read your whole thread and it looks like your girls are bouncing back. It seems as if all the advice you've been given you have used it and the results show in your ladies. Like I said this is what this community is all about. I have led and mh/hps because I use mh/hps in winter months and LED in summer trying to reduce my carbon footprint as much as possible. I'm watching your post so I'll be chiming in from time to time
