Sup eryone.. I am currently growing with a 150w HPS I bought from HTG Supply for about $80 but only after buying it I realized what I should have invested my money into. I am going to be buying a 600w Cool Tube system probably this one right HERE since it comes with necessary accessories unless I can find a decent used system as I am limited on cash. If anybody has used this system or can recommend me a better one for the price, Thanks in advance.

I am also going to be buying a Grow Tent, I was thinking about this one HERE.

Now my real question here is about ventilation. How much air movement do I really need for a 600w Cool Tube in a tent of this size? I was hoping I could get by with a couple Duct Booster fans from Home Depot. 1 connected to the Cool Tube and one to intake some outside air, as well as having a good size circulating fan inside the tent.

I am new to indoor growing and have little experience, however if the duct boosters are completely out of the question I am thinking about one of these S&P TD Series Inline fans.

Thanks for any input is appreciated! :bigjoint:

I'm gonna bet that everything in that link arrives used and fuck that 4500K MH. I only buy bulbs in person now. You can't trust anyone online whether it be a individual seller or a company like HTGSupply - The 2 bulbs I got from them were used.

I mean if your strapped for cash and NEED to grow the ganj yea go for it.

the batwing reflectores, some like...they seem to be best for muliple lights, not a single batwing...if im worng, please correct so correct info is up here.

for vent, your gonna need more that the local hardware store exhasue fan, epeccially if your going inline cooling, as i suspect you are.

may want to go with an enclosed light to help with heat dipersment. helps the inlone cooling. then you should get a vortex, or preferably a canfan. there the best. get the 270 one or whatever, thatl be more than enough....again if incorrect, let it be known!!

id go with enclosed inline cooling refelctor, 600w, effiecient ballast, canfan, charcol filter. suck the air though the fileter, into the light and out the room. this can be done form the canfan. thing ive heard is truine charged....not really......

hang filter high, along with fan, and be sure to blast all hot air through the fileter, through the light, and out the room. that should greatly reduce heat and any problems that that may cuase. good luck and keep us posted on what you wnent with. check the yelidmaster 2.

good luck!

i see where you are going.......good deal for sure. not sure about the tents, alot of foks use them. for vent, inline is the idea, look into a canfan.. threre is a huge difference between cfm and TRUE cfm. be sure to make it true cfm. rin the fiilter to the light, cool the light with air pulling from inline fan, then blow it out, as the fans noth pull an push air.

now ya need nutreints. where you going with that?

best of luck. were here to help
