first off...i dont want this to get out of hand and have everyone think im hosting some huuuuuuge pot party...not the case...im planning on keeping this little "rip together" (get together) small by not inviting more then 10 RIU members and some fellow growers i know personally

this idea sprung mostly out of the fact that a small number of us 215ers are in the same area and check each others shit out all the time....wouldnt it be great to try some of that shit you see others grow?

as for cards...YES...PAPERWORK WILL ABSOLUTELY BE REQUIRED...im the same way as you...i'll burn one down while christmas shopping on main street, usa...but if we can avoid any bullshit whatsoever by having paperwork mandatory...then why not be as safe as possible?

as for me hosting...im not worried about anyone coming back to attempt the jack move...im a jobless insomniac with a gun in every room in the house and a license to carry...sneaking up on Funk's impossible

a definite possibility...we'll hammer out details once the time draws nearer...gotta get these last 4-6 weeks in the bag first

things are off to a good start for day 29...im thinking about combining some sugar, water, and active yeast into an empty gallon milk container with a hole in the top to create some CO2 for the gals...anyone ever done this?...if how many of the "CO2 rigs" should i put in a room thats 4'11x4'11x6'7?

shoot man i dont think that those co2 deals make much of a diff.. i would just go to the hydro store, put down a deposit and get one tank, and turn off all ducting and stuff right after the lights come on and just give em a good shot, let her sit for about 20 mins, then turn on the vents again.. one tank would last the rest of the grow, and you would only be out 20 bux once you get your deposit back, and would be much more effective i would imagine
 
r u serious one tanks last me about 3 days! it's 12bucks to fill and it was a 50gallon in a 12 by 14 room, but then your gals can hit a qp dry. CO2 is great it really does help, so much faster growth.

ya but he has a small enclosed tent and less plants, only a few weeks left so he doesnt need to use that much. and it will make more of a difference than the diy co2 generators with yeast n shit
 
I would dump at least two tanks, with how much time he has and that small of a space. the more co2, the more you can feed, the faster the plant will grow the happier you are at the end!
 
well i didnt consider he is doing sour d so he actually has like 6 weeks left, but i would figure 50- 60lbs would be plenty for that space for 6 weeks.. again only my opinion but when it comes to co2 the more the merrier lol

as of right now, i rigged two "yeast bombs" and have them in there...made them yesterday afternoon and shook all night...this morning they had risen fairly well so i turned off the exhaust fan when my lights turned on, shook them up and they gave a quick blast of CO2 right away and i can feel it constantly streaming out of the hole in the lids...just something to have going that was FREE while i decide how to get this legit CO2 rig going...

im very interested in going and getting a tank, but if i do so wont i need a regulator, solenoid valve & flow meter?...sounds like it could get costly...

do you guys use those items or just run the tank for a small period of time and guesstimate when to stop it and such?

i really want to get a legit set up, but i dont wanna dump a bunch of more money into this grow cause i wanna save up to have the octagon godly when the time comes...

exactly my point...which is why i'd rather hold off and put 100% into the octagon (constructed, but im holding off on all pictures until the room is 100% complete)...i like my little "yeast bombs" thus far...and according to the tread i found them in they should last a week or so...

i shake them up as soon as the lights go on while the fan is off...let them sit in there for half an hour...then i hit the fan and leave them in there as well...we'll see how it goes?

held off on watering...they'll get their aqua tomorrow morning and then food a couple days after...didnt like the curling i was getting from switching to:

nute : nute : water : nute : nute : water

so im gonna switch to

nute : nute : water : water : nute : nute : water : water
