So im going to start ordering my tent and light soon. I was wondering how good of a yield would I get with a 600w HPS(for flowering) and Metal halide bulbs(for veg growth) in a 4'x4'x6.5' grow tent? I want to grow maybe 3-4 plants at a time in the mylar tent. Any suggestions on other products I can purchase to maximize my grow and get a good outcome with nice buds? Thanks!!

Roll one up :joint:

Yield will depend on many factors. the size of the container if soil, your ability to not over/under water, and provide the correct proportions of nutrients, your ability to keep the PH of your medium and water at acceptable levels, how long you vegetate, what strains, and your overall environmental conditions such as heat and humidity. Now if you are good with all that, you can expect a best yield of around 1 gram per watt, but for a first time grow just be happy if you can make it to completion.

Researching higher yielding indoor strains that are easy to grow, yet still pack the punch will really help you get that heavy harvest, cause even with the best conditions the genetics are a major factor for yields. Good luck!

a pound is a bit optimistic for a first grow, 10 oz will do you very well. Of course, with a proper vertical setup you can even double that. and don't use soil. if you can't go hydro all the way, use coco. i'm gonna start a grow this size myself pretty soon, looking for genetics now. so what's the best yielding strain?
