600w MH bulb temps?

I'm having fun building my room, buying me equipment and them bam it just hit me.


600w MH bulb. I assumed it was much cooler than a HPS bulb. I did not factor in cooling for this light into my budget. Its my clone/veg light. Would it be fine with just a fan blowing in the room ya think?

Maybe but i dnt think so , i have a 4x4x7 tent and if i didnt cool it the temps would be in the highs 80's low 90's. Maybe if u kept the light far away but then that would induce strecthing so it defeats the purpose. But Good Luck keep us posted.

Damn that is not what I wanted to read. Shit I have a problem then. Maybe I will luck out on temps since it is in the basement, and it is always chilly down there.

Yup i hope so maybe , the basement do tend to be a lil bit cooler so u mite luck out. I wud try it and if push comes to shove u know whats needed. Im sure u will be fine.
