600w or 1000w

I have read so much on this subject but everything contradicts the other so much that I figured would just ask here.wondering what all you guys think here about this. Thanks in advance

I have 2 flowering tables that measure 45"x36" each and want one light per table, which would be better a 600w or a 1000w hanging over each table ?? I have the suntubes already, just can not make up my mind on what size to go with. will be venting the 2 lights with a ecoplus 440cfm fan.

It sounds like you got what you need to keep the temps down, so I say go with the 1000W.

1000 watts puts out more light for bigger buds.

so sounds like so far 2 1000 watters huh ?? That is what I thought but a buddy suggested two 600w's instead as he said the 2 1k's would be too much ??
How far away from the tops does a 1k need to be vs a 600w running thru suntubes with a 440cfm fan ??

I'm looking at almost the same thing. Except I'm trying to decide between going 3x600w or 2x1000w for the same money. But I am working in an 8x4x6.5 tent.

600w vs 1000w pros and cons.
1) 3x600 has better light coverage and can be closer to the plants.

2) 2X1000w has 300,000 lumen potential 3x600w has 285,000 lumen potential.

3) Heat generated by 2x1000w is probably more than 3x600w.

4) More plugs wires and stuff involved supporting 3 lights compared to 2 maybe.

5) But everything to support 2 larger lights would have to be bigger.
