600watt vs 400 watt?

(2 questions, 400vs600watt and SOG vs SCrog/training) Hey everybody! I'm going to build a 4x2x6 tent for flower and 2x2x6 tent for veg. I know a 400 watt covers 3x3ft and a 600 watt covers 4x4 so a 400 would be weak 6inches on both sides and plenty for the middle, a 600 would cover 4ft so the sides would be 100% covered but would a 4x2 w 600w be overkill? I could use a 400watter and use 2 cfls each side with some blue spectrum on the edges. Would a 600watt be a big difference for heat/yield? I'm hoping for over 10ounces. I want it to be a perpetual, figure a SOG with 8-10 plants in 8sqft harvesting one each week. I'm also wondering how much i should invest in my veg tent i figure i could use cfls to propagate the left bottom 1x2x2ft and the right bottom 1x2x2ft for a drying chamber with a 175watt mh for the top 4ft of the tent for rooted vegers. Or i could just have the veg tent propagate mothers and dryer only and cut a week or 2 off my veg cycle. Its stealth rental so not sure if i should have a propagation tent that's much smaller than 2x2x6 to root only b4 straight to flower, all advice is appreciated!

2x4 you only need a 400 watter I'm getting a 4x4 tent for my 2 400 watters ~

I replaced my 2 400w hps with 2 330w Philips CDM 4100K, and CDMs are much better & brighter.

Think I'm sticking to hps and cfls and mh this go, I've been pondering over a 600watt in a 4x4 set up with 2x2 veg but I'm hesitant it'll be HUGE in my 500sqft rental without a Walk in closet to hide it'll be in the bedroom and my rental house is on the same property as my mom (step dads) who kicked me out when he found out i was smoking in his house and now he got this small house just recently s year after that and i think he's laiszee faire about what goes on in the rentals so if i lock the zippers on the tent and hide the ducting im hesitant on 4x4 instead of 4x2 because 4x4 is like trying to hide a bear I'd imagine

You'd be better off with a 3x3 than a 2x4 for flower. A 2x4 isn't the right shape for HID lights.

I'd guess a 3x3 and 2x2 vs. 4x4 and 2x2 would be nearly equal in terms of stealth a 3x3 is like a fridge a 4x4 is like a bear so i figure let's go for the P!
