630w CMH distance

Anyone got experience with a DE 630w CMH?

What temps/distance do you keep your canopy at?

no, but the only help i can give you is the back of the hand under the light and raise it to a distance that dont feel uncomfortable. im sue you'll get better info soon

That's pretty much it.
Put the back of your hand under the light, move it closer until it gets uncomfortably hot, then slowly move your hand away until it's just warm, that's minimum distance.

I have a par meter but it also depends on your bulbs .. eg ipower bulb I can keep much closer than let's say my Phillips or sunmasters. I find 18-24" generally. I have adjustable wings too so if they are fully open I can go a little closer

I used double 315 fixtures and used to have the plants 12-16" from the light. Usually use the bare hand test and see how warm it feels.
