64 Days in flower

Cut it a couple days before you leave and hang it to dry with the leaves on it until you get back. You will be great. Having the leaves on will let it dry nice and slowly and you can come back and trim them up. It might even need a few more days of drying when you get back depending on your environment.

Thank you. Is it normal for the sugar leaves to all turn yellow? They are getting bad fast. If it's a mistake I made I'd like to know for the next grow. I honestly dont think the one will make it another week. Without my buds being full of yellow/dead sugar leaves

I don't know what's going on in this thread but I have run some ethos cuts...specifically the crescendo rbx1. I grabbed these before I knew those whole ethos story, I know he has a bad reputation or whatever. Anyways that crescendo rbx1 I ran was fire, just nice trichd out purpd colas, that stank of gas and sweet. Really good shit. Ethos definitely has good genetic from what I've seen. Crescendo-

Them yellowing really hard near the end can happen, it really depends on how they were feeding. Maybe they could have used a little more or less food to keep them healthy. Unless you run an exact cutting of that plant again, it would be hard to know for sure.

Hell if you wanna cut it now do prevent any further deterioration go for it. After my plants are dried I remove all the leaves when I trim, so there wouldn’t be any little crispy pieces to worry about.

The cement shoes looks noticeably closer to done. It’s awesome they are putting on weight, bending stems means they are getting heavy not that the stems are getting weak.
Yeah definitely. The yellowing on the cement shoes sugar leaves has slowed a bit. She's ready in my eyes. Ordered a small tent to dry in. Hopefully I have a nice first harvest! The northern one Iis getting there. Just a little behind.

This is incorrect. Most cannabis plants do not produce CBD. What you are thinking of is CBN, which is what THC breaks down into as it degrades. HOWEVER it takes a significant amount of time for that to happen. It takes weeks for plants to ripen not days.

Don't be confused you shouldn't be listening to peoples opinions. YOu should be looking at the plants and how they are progressing. Here is the basic rundown I share with new growers.

Before even thinking about harvesting take a look at this and see if your plant is actually showing you all these signs.

The signs of ripeness are pretty standard.

First a few of the pistils begin turning color and start receding. Your plant is just starting to ripen. Depending on the strain you could still have two months to go. We're just starting this journey.

Two to four weeks later you'll notice that most of the pistils(>80%) have now changed color and curled back into the bud. It's frosty, way bigger than it was a few weeks ago, and smells dank! It's time, right? Not a chance killer. Patience is a virtue

Over the next 2-3 weeks it doesn't look much different, maybe a little more swelling in the calyxes, and the rest of the pistils change over, but the stems ars starting to bend under the weight of the buds. These ladies are putting on weight and now the buds are doing their final ripening.

Now you begin looking at trichomes, on the calyx not leaves, and harvest according to your preference. When looking at trichomes it’s essential to look at them from the side. The bulbous heads can magnify the opaque stalk under it. Looking from the side allows you to more accurately see the condition of the resin in the trichome head.

There is still no rush to harvest, the window just opened, and you have several weeks before you MIGHT start having to think about it possibly beginning to get too ripe. It takes WEEKS for plants to mature not days.

It is very easy to harvest a plant to early. It is very hard to harvest a plant to late. I’ve never seen someone accidentally wait too long.
I know its a good advice, and Im looking forward to follow it, but every time I read your post sure it makes it feel like its going to forever for them to flower xD.

Lmao yeah it definitely feels that way some times. I found once I had a few grows under my belt and some buds stored in jars that it got much easier to wait things out. I also did perpetual harvests for about 10 years so there was non stop work and buds to keep my mind off whether the next batch was “done yet”.

Can't wait to share the top. Here's a lower bud.
Looks like some decent bud.

Yeah I'm sure it will be easier once I don't have to buy anymore. I can't complain for my first attempt at growing.
