My room is 11 x 11 and 10 ft high. I have 3 x 1000 hps and a 600 hps. I'm growing in 7 gallon pots and I have 15 girls. I am wondering is my 650 cfm carbon filter exhaust fan enough or should have a second?

Your room is 1200 cubic feet. The general rule of thumb is CFM = rm volume x 1.25. However, you can get away with less depending on the difference in temp between your intake air and your exhaust air - if you're sucking ice-cold -10ºC winter air you could probably get away with a 450CFM. Where is your intake air coming from and whats the temp?

I grow in my garage witch is totally insulated. I am bringing my intake air in from my house witch is the same temp as my house (72). I would rather bring my intake from inside because in the winter I am bringing in warm air and the summer it helps keep my room cool. My temps in the room are 75 with lights on and 71 when lights are off. I just want to know if my 675 cfm is enough or maybe I could pick up a 2nd. Or maybe that would be overkill. hope to hear from you soon and thanks for the posts so far.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

If you don't smell it too bad outside the house, don't worry about it. However, if you think the room needs to be vented more, then get the second fan. Not to mention if you should happen to expand your operation you will need more ventilation in the future anyway.

are you using it to cool the lights also or just to scrub the air?
If it is just to scrub the exhaust then you are probably fine if your filter is rated for the same airflow
If you are cooling your lights also then you definitely need more, how much more depends on the length of your ducts, size, and number and severety of bends in ductwork.
