6500k CFL vs. 2700k CFL

how do i tell that the bulb is at 6500K or 2700K??? these CFL's are confusing me, also does anyone know where i can get a cfl with more that 42W???

6500k will usually say daylight and every store I went to by me your 23watt or 27watt and 13watt were 6500k and all the 42watts were 2700k

oh and I haven't seen any cfl's higher than 42watt in any of the stores that I have been too but I know they got them, i'm sure somebody know's a site with cfl's over 42watts

thanks bro thats a big help one i get my plants budding and harvested, ill be able to buy a dual MH/HPS light so i can grow some serious bud!!!

hey guys check out ebay us juss type cfl or type cfl an the wattage u want an u should b good ive found 60watters there in the states an im in aussie hope all goes well peace

Found some 75W CFLs at Lowes

I'm just using 6x 42w 2700k's (found at home depot)


If you look on the back of the box they usually have the kelvin temperature... 2700k for flower, 6500k for veg.
