About to buy a 250w CFL for my mothers and clonning (plus starting seedlings for veges). Should I go the rapid growth 14k or 6400k for general purpose?

I think this is some sort of Aussie misprint or translation error. I see them out there and they have a 25000K for flower, and they are all of Australian origin.

Yeah i know you're in NZ... close enough to say is still 6500K veg and 2700K flower.

14000k is considered Marine Blue, and they are readily available as fluro tubes. People in the Marine aquarium (saltwater fish and coral) hobby use them.

To see what others are saying [https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/347325-14000k-130w-cfl-will-work.html

This dude https://www.rollitup.org/members/stickybob-289011.html post on that thread and reported them as good.

From what I can tell on wiki is that 14000k is bluer than 6500k (6500k being more available to purchase early on) and chlorophyll takes in more of the 14k range

someone take a looksie and post what you think.

Also the 25000k is available and isnt a typo!
