68 watt CFLs at Home Depot for $15!!!!

Hey I dont see people using these much so I figured I would post about them real quick. Home depot sells a 68 watt (pictured) for $15. Great light at a great price. Sure beats have 3 23 watt bulbs. It is in a 2700K temp and light output is 4200 lumens. Check em out!!! It will fit in a standard light socket too.

Yes they stock them at the store and I dont go by # of plants. I go by square footage. I like at least 30 watts per foot. I have a 3sf cab that I am going to use these in with 2 bulbs (40w per sf).

Dont forget about the 35 watt ones, The 35 watt ones from htg are cheaper per watt, they come in 2700k and 6400 light spectrum

Those big bulbs are actually less efficient and more expensive than 23 or 26w cfls that put out ~1700 lumens per bulb. Plus these are only available in the 2700k spectrum.

But yeah, they're not terrible. VERY large bulbs.

thoes bulbs are great, they are the best flowering bulb for a poor man. I cant afford the 80$ 200 watt cfl so i went with these and there great. I have 6 23 watt 6400k for vegging, i wish these came in 6400 k cause these bulbs are great.

if you guys like big CFLs and don't mind ordering, 1000bulbs.com has 105 watt CFL's (both spectrums) that will fit in a standard socket. (once you hit 125 you need mogul sockets).

Cheap but who wants to piss around daisy chaining them together when they can just buy T5's, or MH's?
