Top dressing with crab meal has always worked for me, and i had a pretty good population of them at one point. Outdoors crab meal might invite animals like coons or rodents to dig.I don't mind the smell of neem, but this is the second time it has killed plants that I've used it on (And it still didn't wipe out the Gnats either), and I hate the smell of my pride dying in the gutter. I picked up some Mosquito Bits so we'll see how that works, probably gonna pick up some Nematodes if the bits don't do the trick. Gonna need a surefire solution for my outdoor crop so I don't have to wash off 100s of gnats at harvest time like I did last year.

would the cucumber thing work with mites? I've got a bit of a mild infection, neem/karanja is keeping the population down, but I can't eliminate them entirely...The two natural things that worked the best for me were:
cucumber slices on tinfoil.... Creates a noxious fume that insects can't handle..
PEPPERMINT OIL! Put some 100% pure peppermint oil on a rag and watch the gnats leave!
how come that driver isn't grounded?weekly update, yawn
Wanna like it but hard too.Update 9 (I think)
Looks like you guys might not have to wait for my late-bloomers to finish after all, I may have just knocked myself out of this thing completely. I was starting to get a bit of a fungus gnat issue, and in dealing with it I somehow managed to mix my foliar WAY too strong (This is the second time I've done this, I am just about fed up and done with neem completely). The only good news is that the LVBK x SourJack only got partially destroyed, and the CoCo Kush was damn near unscathed (Even though it got just as much spray as the others), but I think that the Fool's Gold has bitten the dust. For some reason it responded the worst by far, and has pretty much given up the ghost, which is fucking depressing because it was the only one that's actually flowering (Other than the male that is just taunting my with it's vigor). Now, if I had any pride I would never let these pictures see the light of day, but pride is for lions, so...
I present to you:
The demolished Fool's Gold

and my survivors, the partially damaged LVBK x SourJack (in the back) and the relatively untouched CoCo Kush (in the front)

Oh no! Was that a requirement?how come that driver isn't grounded?
I was just giving you some shit... I know its only got 2 wires coming out, you can still ground it though (for your own safety). Plus the "free hang" and electric tape could present an issue. I'm just critiquing, no offense intended! I wanna see as many finish as possible!Oh no! Was that a requirement?
There were only two wires coming out of the driver, on each side, so I didn't see a ground.
First electrical job, so if I missed something, be kind.
Or I might just pull out of the competition. Thanks.
two more weeks......Yea!! Lots of nice cups! Low voltage I wouldn't sweat it so much...^^
Heres my cupdate. Tempted to pull it but I'll give her another week.
