Heres my grow, i have 3- 45watt cfls. And 1-25 watt cfl. And I also have 2-70watt HPS lights. A little more than a week ago i burnt the top of the plant cola and it slowed down the growth on top for a little bit but now its growing back stronger than before. I also switched my fertilizer from fox farms (Open Sesame) early flowering, to mid-stage (Beastie Bloomz).I also mix in Tiger Bloom. And i can tell the plant is LOVING the new fert. Enough of the talk, heres pictures. comments and advice.

Pictures go from older to MOST recent.

YESSS BETTER CAMERA!!!!!

MORE PICTURES!.!.! This is my first GOOD grow and longest so its all fun. But 3rd time around, the first two were pretty good tho.
I was also wondering if you cut most of the plant down and leave some, will it continue to grow??

i had a plant i believed to be male so i cut off all its leaves so it was just a four headed stick in dirt, and it took about a week and a half but it bushed out even nicer than before and because of the plants hardiness i started revegging it and a couple days ago i spotted some white hairs!!!! your answer is yes but i do not know whether late budding plants will do the same,or continue filling the buds out or anything.you can reveg tho!

thanks bro. yea i also have 140 watts of HPS lighting as well but the cfls are doing a lot of the work too. Yea i definitely think it helps. But i started using the open ses about 3 weeks into flower but still it all helps a gooood amount. Buds are a lot more full and more trichs. i am also mixing in Tiger bloom with it. Does anyone else know if you can cut off a majority of a plant and have it continue growing??

i had a plant outdoors in a real shady spot but it started budding it grew nice and had nice buds that i cut off well i scooted it in the light more and it changed back to vegg...i was growing in city it got really big one morning i woke up and i walked out my front door it smelled sweet it had a coco like smell well i cant forget it went through alot of stress and when it came to harvest it produced bud bigger than shoeboxes and i smoked it and it left everybdy stuck ...well u can cut off the buds and go back to vegg but id say try to keep as many fan leaves and not cut them off ...and u should do fine i had over a quarter pound ....if u do cut buds off and goto vegg id give it alot of time to reabilitate

Wicked grow man.
I've never heard of 70 watt HPS lights. Are these those shop lights you can buy from like Home Depot and shit?? I've really wanted to try those, especially since I can't really Buy a 150 watt HPS where I live.

If this is what you did, can you please explain:
How you setup your HPs lights?
Did you modify the ballast or anything?
Do these lights function the same as any other HPS?
Why aren't more people doing this?

I would really appreciate any info you, or anyone else can give me on HPS "shop lights". I really like your grow. Maybe you could do a photo shoot of how your lights are setup and whats\'s the thinking behind how you set-it-up.

Thanks man. Northwest
