Need some more details about light and soil etc

But for six weeks of flower u should have buds all over and ur plants should need stakes to hold it all up! Sounds like ur in week 1 or 2! Have they been under 12/12 light for six weeks for real??

.....bump.....
I had a buddy just call me and ask why his plants are not budding yet---in week 7 mind you....... What possible reasons are there, anyway? I am thinking in his case it may be that the strain has been recloned from for years, literally.....and never an issue yet. He's good on the nutes and light schedule and I need to check on the temps but am sure they're okay. He tells me they are trees reaching almost 6' now and are beautiful, albeit no buds, just a few hairs is all.
So can anybody enlighten us to some possible causes this may be from. I 've been growing indoors for years and have never even heard of this. If it were myself I'd start over: I dont believe he can afford to do that atm......

Sorry, and I am not trying to jack your thread, german. Hopefully we'll get some insight into this....

Merry Christmas and all of that!!

Are you sure they arnt getting ANY light? The bottoms of my plants are just starting to flower after 4 or 5 weeks because a little bit of light polution comes in down there. Its hardly any, but its some none the less and it caused them to not flower until now.

I am going over there today and this will most definately be something I will look for.......... and he has a new batch(from the same clone) running the same 12/12 and 14 days in they have 'nice buds' he says.... checking temps of res and room too..............

Sometimes you have to accept that you may have a bad seed... a retarded plant in some way, that in other ways grow healthy, but just don't flower well..I have 2 different closets I use for flowering... one of my closets has 2 plants, one big bud and one is a widow skunk cross... its only in its third week of flowering, and the bigbud plant has these ragetty little resinless buds, that are pathetic , while the other plant is blowing up!! the bigbud plant is much larger also with huge fan leaves, but just little bud growth... shit happens.

.......that's a kick ass machine!! Is this your first run in it?? I cant say I know anything about those at all---but your problem very may well be your res temps---sounds way cold. I never let mine get under 57-60F and try to average it out at 65F---I KNOW you dont want the room staying that cool.........though I 've had it too warm a few times in the summer(res 75+F).
I think this may have been our problem at my buddies house.....I dont think it was even reaching 60F when the light were on......the room doesn't get over 77- 80F but too cold at lights off into the low 50's.........can make for some nice colors is about it, haha.

Hey, good luck!

:peace:Merry Christmas!!:peace:

.........cant say for sure, but I wouldn't think so. I would think they'd go hermie if anything. I hope not. I've just never seen anything like this happen before and I dont think I want to again......
