This is my first attempt at growing and so far at 6th weeks into flower it has proven to be successful. I started off with 4 plants: Chiesel ( NYC Diesel x Big Buddah Cheese ), some bagseed I got back home from
my friend, White Widdow, and another bagseed from some dank. In the end I ended up with one of the bagseeds it appears to be a hybrid (but mostly sativa and has a very sweet smell) and Chiesel ( very strong smell of grapefruit can't wait to smoke this stuff). White widdow died when I put the germed seed in soil, I think I over watered it when I planted it, and the other bagseed resulted in a male.
Anyway on to the detail:
I grow in my closet, literally its huge, I could fit a second bed in there if i wanted to .. or .. a grow room lol.
VEG: (Chiesel was vegged for 4 weeks and the bagseed was vegged for 6 weeks)
4-6500k 42watt
2-2700k 42 watt
2-6500k 23watt
FLOWER:
4- 2700k 42watt
3- 2700k 23watt
3 - 6500k 23watt
I have all the bulbs hung from multiple work light reflectors (the ones they sell at home depot). A series of Y-splitters and adapters make it so I can have multiple bulbs in one reflector.
Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil
Fox Farm Tiger Bloom in flower ( Started at 1/4 strength then went to 1/2 for 2 feedings then went to full strength )
I did not use any nutes in veg as the fox farm soil should be good with 3 weeks of nutes though the plants were vegged for 4 weeks and 6 weeks, respectively.
Chiesel looks like it will be ready for harvest in 2-3 weeks while the bagseed since its a sativa might be around 3 - 4 weeks more.
After this grow I plan on building a box out of PVC pipe and panda film. It will be a lowryder grow with either AK-47 or Diesel, or a mix. I plan on using a 250 watt HPS for this grow. My CLFs left over from this grow might be used in a second grow box made out of the left over PVC pipe and panda film and be used to grow one of my freebie seeds from attitude.
A little about the plants - As this is my first grow I learned a lot through the experience. I tried to do some LST it worked but I didn't maximize the potential of it. Chiesel's stem actually got so strong that it broke one
of the strings i had tying it down. I'm hoping for an oz. from each plant though chiesel might be a little less, though in the past days the buds has been fattening up fast so I could get that oz. after all. The bagseed
will definitely at least be an oz. or more.
On to the pics ( The quality is a little low its from my IPhone, and the plants are covered in THC crystals but some of the pics did not capture it )
First pics are of the bagseed:
1 - Main Cola
2 - A second Shot of the main Cola
3- The side view of the plant
4 - Up close side bud
Second Set Chiesel
5 - Up Close Main Cola Shot
6 - Up Close main cola shot
7 - View of the plant
8- Close up of a side bud
Couple shot of the plants under the lights
The last pic is of some Grand-Daddy-Purp my friend gets shipped from California. It taste just like it looks purple lol
What do you guys think .. Good attempt at a first grow?? This grow is kind of ghetto set-up .. when I get some extra cash I am going to build the box I talked about and have 6-9 plants going.
