7 ladies in DIY CAB with DIY Co2 drip (lot's of PICS)

++++++++++++++My set up as follows ++++++++++++++

I have 7 girls.

Clones (dirt)

A - Alice - GHS Cheese
B - Betty Boop - GHS Super Lemon Haze
C - Cali - GHS Cheese
D - Dirty Diana - unknown DNA ,White Diesel
E - Elenor - GHS Super Lemon Haze
F - Frances - GHS Super Lemon Haze
G - Gina - GHS Cheese


Cabinet - Gutted TV Cab (41" (tall) x 41" (Wide) x 22" (deep)) Sealed using Duct Tape (except Exhaust (top of cab), and intake(bottom of cab))

This cab will only be being used for Veging until they don't fit anymore then they will be moved into a flower room ( 10' x 12') under 1000w HPS (not set up yet next week mabey)

Lights - DIY CFL hood (see pic) Kept within 2 - 4 " from tops)

Light Cycle - 18 hours (comes on at 4pm off at 10:am)

Average temps
Lights on No exhaust - 79 - 85 degrees (for Co2)
Lights on With exhaust - 72 degrees
Lights off - 61-67

Humidity 31 % when dryer is NOT on (45 % with Dryer on)
---- Note Cab shares a room with a Maytag High eficient (sp?) stackable washer / dryer (the new fire engine Red ones Mrs. Lerellions Yule Gift.)


Meduim - Soil Grow -
----Initial Soil - Fox Farm , Ocean Forrest Planted from clone w pete plug 1-20-1
----Transplanted into Black Gold (0.05 - 0.0 - 0.0) mixed 1/7th perlite on 2-15

Nutes - None since 2-05-10 They have been in Fox Farms Ocean forrest (which has nutes)

(NOTE) When I recieved the clones on Jan 20 only 2 of the 7 had roots showing through the plugs. Because I did not have a propigation tray or clonex (first grow didn't think I would need it until later). They had to go in dirt ( FFOC no perlite added). Because of fertilizing in a hot soil I decided to transplant to a larger pot. They were transplanted into Black Gold (0.05 - 0.0
- 0.0) on Feb 15, 2010


Water
PH - 6.5 Water only since 2-5-10
(tap water after setting 24 hours is ph 8 I am using PH down to get PH to 5.5-6.5)


Co2
----DIY Co2 drip durring Lights on

DIY Co2 Parts
--------- Aquarium tubing (purchased at walmart for 3.00)
--------- Aquariom hose "T's" (purchased at Walmart for 4.00)
--------- 2 liter water bottle with pop up lid. (purchased at Walmart .99)
--------- Silicone sealant (purchased at Walmart 2.99)
--------- 1 tbs Yeast 9 bakers yeast (NOT instant)
--------- 1 cup Granulated sugar
--------- 4 & 1/3 cups warm water (aprox 90 degrees VERY IMPORTANT)


1. Drilled small hole on top of the water bottle and inserted one of the "T's",
2. Using an epoxy putty and silicone sealant sealed the "T" air tight
3. Using a few "T's" run tubing nto cab at stratgic locations (right above plant tops)

As you guys can see we have named the girls ( my Wifes idea) the phsycology behind naming them is they now have identities and human nature is to protect identities. So subconciously we will take better care of the girls

So Let me know what you guys think Where can I make improvments etc......



As this is my first grow I do have some questions that I am sure you guys could answer

I am going to want to top them a couple of times before going to flower so when and where should I top (please see pics)?

When should I Start Adding Nutes to Water ( will be Using Fox Farms Grow Big.)

Any thing you guys know about the strains ( nute req's, growth patterns etc...)
