Thank, w99illie. Today I gave it 2 gallons of water with 2 tsp of sugar mixed in. Things seem to be doing ok. I'm definatly having seeds, I can see plently of seed casings. It's all good, I'll wait till the seeds are done then after harvest I'll plant them. Don't she-male plants make feminized seeds anyways? The veg box is doing ok. I have 7 out of 8 seedlings sprouted and 2 of 4 in the rockwool are slightly visable, not sprouted yet tho. So I think soil is way quicker for seed starting. The clone is 4" tall with many female hairs even on the new growth. It looks like it can't wait to be flowered. Tell me what you think ppl. I'm dying for more feedback.

:leaf::leaf: Looking pretty good. Rockwool cubes are easy just soak them for 5 minutes in the water of your choice and then squeeze out 50% - 75% of the water. If there is too much water the seed won't sprout. If there isn't enough then they also won't sprout. Once you put the seed in the cube put it in a dark dry spot until the seed germinates. Alot of people grow the seed into the cube until it is establish which is good if your doing hydro but if your doing soil i usually just put the seed straight into the soil after it germs before it can get established in the cube. Iv had perfect germination rate with this method. :leaf::leaf:

Yeah, I've done rockwool a lot before for clones and it works great. After the rw I transplant right into soil and that seems to work for me well when cloning. But for seeds I think you're right doc, germ in soil is better. I soaked them like you said and everything but I think the seedling has a harder time pushing thru the rw than the soil. How long do you let them sit in the dark before putting light on them? I've always planted and put them in the light. Germination is different of course, they're in dark all the time. Without a microscope how can I tell the perfect time to harvest? Should I wait for the seeds to be done? Can I harvest a couple buds sooner than the rest? Some have all white hairs some have all orange hairs and a few have hardly any hairs. If I had a better camera I'd show. Thanks everyone!

I'm thinking of topping the 4 1/2" clone. Maybe if I start now I could have a crazy bushy plant that would fit perfect in the box. 5 seedlings still alive after godzilla came and terrorized their village. I think the rockwool may have suffered also, maybe 1 is ok but still no sprouting. The clone wasn't hurt by the blast so that's good. OMG! I wish I could show you better pictures of the plant in flower! The crystals duke! The crystals! They are covering entire bud sites, like they're fighting for space, covered. Biggest bud is 1" x 2 1/2". And it's not done yet! I can't tell if the sugar helped any, but it sure as hell didn't hurt. Peace!

Might have been a little early, but I harvested the big one today. At least half of the hairs were turning color. They turned out to be nice looking buds. I'll let you know what the weight is when they are dry. They are hanging now in the dark. After everything, I only have 2 seedlings left and the clone. Clone is doing very good, I transplanted into a pot full of perlite. I have one pot on top of another with many holes in the bottom of the top pot, the bottom pot will be my res. (thanks Boneman!) Can I use GH gro by itself? Or does it have to be mixed with micro and bloom? Anyways, that's my plan. If all goes well, I'll top the clone tomorrow. I want to get at least 2 clones from it before it goes into the flower box. Maybe this one will come out better with all of your help. Thanks everyone!

I topped the clone, and the 2 seedlings are doing ok, maybe some insect bites but that's it. I have the 23w blue and the 42w red cfls in the veg box now. It's on 18 hrs now. Clone looks to be growing nice. As soon as I start the cure, I'll take the clone into the flower box and really surround it with light. The hanging buds look nice. What do you think?

man thas gonna be some raggedy bud. Its hard to get the density that you need to really turn it up. You'd be better off getting a 250, like 10 inches and going from there. Good luck

I hang dryed it for 4 days and cured in a jar for 3 days and smoked a little bit each day to see when curing is good. I made about 15 blunts and the bud was delicious. I'd say it tasted like a sour lemon diesel. It has a very flavorfull exhale that make me cough almost every time I hit it. Everyone I smoked with got real blunted and they were all impressed. Can't hate on the cfl's brookstown. Yeah I know I needed better coverage so that's why on my current grow off a clone I set things up a little better. You should check it out!
