hey guys, the buds have grown a bit more and there seems to be more trichs also since the last time I posted pics...im at 10 weeks now and im thinking about starting to flush....i plan to flush her the last 2 weeks before I harvest so that would put her into 12 weeks....im sure she will be ready by then if not right now....the trichs look milky white but I see no amber in them...i figure Ill flush her once this week and then once at the end of next week and then chop her the following night....so what do you guys think...should I start her flush now or wait another week? or should I give her another dose of nutes??....thanks for stopping by....

It looks like they have done alot of fattening up since the issue so at 10 weeks now, begin that flush it's time. Since the trichomes are still clear to milky your high would be heady if you took them today, but by the end of a 10 day flushing period they will have some amber and be a more couchlock high. You could actually flush them today w/ a few gallons of water, let the soil dry for 4-5 days and then take em down.

thanks for the advice bra...I was wanting to wait till I seen a bit of amber but for all I know they could be amber now...all I have is a 5x magnifier and I doubt that I could see amber with that...so you think i can chop her in 5 or so days?
I was planning on giving her a good flush and then waiting a week and flushing her one more time the night before I take her down..
do you reccomend waiting to see the first signs of amber??
then again you already said to flush and chop her in 5 days...lol....
thanks again man....

Sure Captian anytime. You probably have alot of amber on them, I know by the appreance of the hairs that your plant looks good and ready. Have you cut off a tiny nug to try yet? Well if not do that today, give a quick dry and test the high. Will be raspy from the rapid dry, but the high will talk to you and let you know exactly what you want to know.

It'd be great to know what you think of your hard work. I'll be looking for that smoke report.

well I snipped a small nug last night and quick dried it in the microwave...
nice head high mixed with a light body...shes just right...some very good stuff.....
some of the best Ive had!! I flushed her last night and plan on taking her down on the 6th....that gives her 5 days to dry out... theres nothing like smoking your own stuff and enjoying the fruits of your labor.... she was very harsh from the quick dry but still....it was great...lol... thanks for the heads up....:bigjoint:

Everytime I grow the first test nug is at 6 weeks, that always gives me an idea of how long the particular strain needs. After that I start watching the trichomes and hairs. This is my favorite time of the grow, tasting the fruits of labor.

Glad the high is what you are looking for. When you finally take them down and after a hang dry they taste even better and the high is better as well. Good work and I'll be watching for some harvest pics.

ok so tonight is supposed to be harvest night but im deabating on waiting until tomorrow night so I can keep her in the dark for at least 24 hours and also sticking a dehumidifier in there until tomorrow night also...I read that this will increase resin...what do you guys think??
should I chop her tonight or do as I said above??
have you ever heard of doing this?

Hey Captian did you take em down last night? IF not and you decided on the 24 hour dark period, I did it on my last 2 grows and did not notice anything significant.
