I'm laughing reading what you said because for me any story that has to do with small insects it's a very scary story I think someone could literally put a gun to my head and I would be less frightened then hearing that I have mites

DE slowly dehydrates the exterior shells of the effected bugs and leaches elements from their exoskeleton and die over a shortened period.

It’s relatively cheap too and you just top dress the soil.
