Can't you vent through your attic? Just requires a small hole and you can easily patch th drywall.

thats how my shits setup in my closet. it has like a foot and a half lil walkway like 4 feet long juast as high as the closet. i have it blocked with plastic sheeting right now...

Normally I'd say steal that 300w light from the garage, why use some little 70w if you have that available. But then you say the best you can do on temps is 80 and it can swing all the way to 95? In that case I'd say dump HID and just use cfl's only. Temperatures that high are so bad that's probably the reason you're not seeing better growth from the 70, it's just too hot next to it to do anything but sit there and sweat trying to stay alive.

5 cfl's alone are enough to grow all the weed you need perpetually. I'll give you a link if you want, if you haven't heard of drbudgreengenes 2 square foot perpetual grow that uses only 5 42w cfl's and yields 3 mature plants every week forever.
