Yeah I figured it out.... added some more nitrogen to the mix.. they are looking a lot greener...


and hey man.. I'm on day 11 now... slowly easing into my head space.. they are a little over 2x the size of veg now... They are starting to pop out a few calyxes at each of the nodes... and it appears they are slowing down in the stretch...


I was looking at yours at day 30, and it also appears they slowed down quite a bit after they started pumping out calyxes, yes?

And I found the tangerines started using up a lot of nitrogen in the stretch, when I added more they greened right up... I think that was the issue with your coloring.. tops were coming in kind of yellowish, and they were a lime green rather than HEMP green.. you know?

Send good energy over here! These babies are slow to flower! I thought you would have some cola structure by day 30.... and some definitive BUD structure by day 55..

Alright I have been neglectful with my journal but here is the latest pics and update.
Day 44 of flowering nutrient update I will be replacing the BC Boost with FloraMicro from GH I have added some with the last water replacement and the plants have really started to darken up which you really cant tell under the lights. but anyway the BC Boost was 3-0-5 where as the Floramicro is 5-0-1 with more mineral nutrients by far way better boost additive than BC Boost during flowering BC Boost did very well in seedling and veg ok during the transition to flower lacking some punch there with nutrients for bud building.

Tangerine Dream first shot is from the 15th (I think) before lst to control height and the other 2 are from today in the first pic she is 23.5" lot of growth in 12 days she made up 8" in lst plus tallest bud is at 27"s now

officially changed over to FloraMicro for todays res change used the last of the BC Boost for four gals and added the FloraMicro in all six gals a way better boost additive more bang

Officially harvested the monster today top weighed in at 43.6g took pics left two main node branches growing with buds maturing weight total so far is 21g dry still letting the 4 top BBG and TD grow will reconfigure HPS tomorrow for the TD which is kicking ass on bud production/ Quick forum advice comment check I have found totally viable seeds from the monster BBG i have scoured all the plants for evidence of hermaphrodism cant find any so the question is are these seeds feminized hermie or just reg seeds?

your TD looks like it thinned out quite a bit... it also seems like it stopped growing quite a while ago... mines on day 15 looking like its starting to BLOOM rather than just pop a few calyxes, as it has so far...

The harvest picz this bud weighed in at 43.6gms wet last pic is the two secondary btanches i left to let grow if they will the rest was 50% amber trichs 25%milky cloudy and 25% crystal clear.


The TD only seems to have stopped growing because I LST everyday to keep it at 2' and have the same spiral around as I had for the BBG she does look wispy with the sativa dom leaves the first 2 pics are the top bud then a overall pic and couple misc buds.

Well checked on the clones today and now have 2 successful BBGs and 2 TD and possibly another 2 TDs so they ar lookng great roots are nice white and forming up nice these I am most likely going to plant on the river bog behind the house and let go guerilla all summer should be interesting come august.

I know right My tangerine Dream is lookin nice will be ready for 4/20 just in time . Going to get my first taste of her today trimmed a small bud from underneath that wasnt really getting enough light and falling behind Yeah mac i did the same with my BBG and they seem to be recovering and still growing will see when it comes time for the final harvest.

what does the tangerines buds smell like??

They smell just like the celestial seasonings tea bags put a bud and teabag side by side you couldnt tell them apart except for maybe a bit more of a citrusy bite like tangerine oil from the peel smell on the bud

crazy shit cant wait to try it outta the volcano after 5 weeks cure

Grow update 4/5/11 Tangerine dream
Oh man do these buds smell awesome and thank god the strectch is over finally the buds are super compacted together absolutely no light can be seen through the bud.Today the trichs really started to show nicely without the magnifying glass so we should see some nice frostiness in the next few days.

mine are day 21 tomorrow.. really blooming... doing great now dispite chopping the tops off! Should be interesting but at least ill get some ganj and trim....

the tangerines are definately at least a 10 week strain from what i see.
