8 ak's 600W's hps, should i had an extra 400?

my friend is using a 600W hps over his 8 auto ak's using 24 hours of light a day

he has another 400W hps hes thinking of adding to the grow,
he can afford the electricity to add a 400 but his main concern is will it be worth it? (electric cost to bud ratio)

i told him i would add the 400 as im sure it will raise the yield alot and be worth the electric cost

so my question is - would you add the 400 to the grow?

i no more light the better but like i said its the electric usage money issue.

I don't know if it would be worth it for an auto grow. I don't think it would as they are only going to get so big before flowering regardless....

no i mean just for flowering, not veg

it wont make any difference to an auto.

an auto flower doesnt have veg and flowering times, it just flowers AUTOmaticaly after a week under any light, and it has a set life span were a feminized has a season and veg/flower periods.

if you want a good yield keep them around 30-40cm, and keep topping and they grow outwards

i no how an auto works, and it takes 3-4 weeks from seed to go into flower

i dont mean use extra light for veg, i mean when the buds are blooming

The Extra 400 watts will ABSOLUTELY increase your yield, NO DOUBT!!! Use it!!

fo sho use it that extra 400 will run ya about 20-30 month depending on your Kwh hour charge

yeah i will make sure he throws that 400 in probs around the last 4 weeks of flowering.... well with autos you only get 7ish anyway

More light=more yields. It can't hurt. In any case, the closer you are to 200w of light per plant the better I say. 100w and 150w is totally acceptable too!

yeah i deffo no more light the better my only Q was would the cost of running a 400W 24 hours a day for 4 weeks pay off in buds
