8 Ball Kush Grow

Hey PJ Diaz,
Check out my superlocker 2.O thread where I have a 8 ball kush growing in the hydro setup. I started them in the paper towel method on 4/21, bout to put them in the lower chamber in 5days to start to veg on a 175 watt hps, they are currently 2.5 inches tall and have 2 sets of leafs. Should I veg them this weekend ?? Please check out my pics I just posted in that thread, where you're 8 ball kush that size at the same time ???

I pretty much start veg as soon as the seeds pop. I have three chambers: clone, veg, and flower. Seedlings go straight into veg under 200w HPS. From veg they go into 600w HPS for flower.
I can't really remember where my seedlings were at when they were 2 weeks old, but usually mine are usually slightly further along that where yours look to be at. Also, my 8-Ball seems to be a long flowering sativa pheno. I'm at 65 days now, and it looks like it will be ready for harvest around 70 days of 12/12. I grow in soil, so since you are growing hydro, you should have faster growth rates than me.
I haven't really harvested any 8-Ball yet, but I'm thinking my plant that was grown in a 1.75 gal container should yield a couple zips or so. I do/did have 2 other 8-Balls in one Gallon containers that are around 55 days 12/12 now. They are small single cola SOG style. I saw two tiny spots of the beginning of powdery mildew on one of them the other night (only plant in my tent to show any PM in months), so I decided to pull it early. I think I'll prolly only get around 12 grams off that one. I think potency won't suffer from the early pull, but prolly lose a few grams of yield. It's worth it to me though to keep PM out of my tent. I've learned the hard way to not ignore the start of PM issues. Normally I prolly would have just sprayed the infected plant with a skim mike dilution, but I didn't have any milk. I forgot until after I pulled it that I have a bit of "no powder mildew". I should used that first, but I thought a premature taste test might be fun.

Tell me about it. I've grown 3 barney's strains this year, and they were all longer than advertised by a couple of weeks. Won't be buying any Barney's seeds again because of it. The other strains next to the Barney's plants are getting done in 50 to 60 days however.

Yeah im growing morning glory now and it says 9-10 weeks. Im 5 weeks in bit I doubt it will be ready on time. In thinking 2 weeks longer probably. It doesn't really worry me though. I have no deadlines to meet. The smoke should be nice

Violater Kush is the only thing ive had a probelm with from Barneys, i bought an entire pack and not 1 of them popped, n they were all healthy looking. i was pissed cuz ive heard awesome reviews on the Violater Kush

Don't get me wrong. I love barneys gear. I have grown quite a bit and its always tasty. Laughing Buddha is my face so far

yah dude i know i always say it but im still running the PAC, i think i got a lucky pheno or somthing cuz everyone else who runs it describes it as a mess but i get awesome results who knows. i think its the Nute profile 4 certain strains dont like my lineup n some do. Blueberry anything hates my nutes usually i did blue mystics with bad results. at least Barneys Farm the plants are nice, Nirvana i got dinky weird Blue Lavender buds that dont get me stoned barely....yah haha

yah, ima stick around i got a Pineapple Chunk a couple weeks from the chop and i have a bit experiance w the strain, its a good 1 man but there is a bad pheno 2 look out for.

Thanks... Going to walmart tonight to get soil and 3 pots so I can throw them outside.

I finally chopped my 8-Ball last night after 68 days 12/12. I'm seriously starting to wonder if my 8-Ball single seed got switched up with a Super Lemon Haze or something at Attitude when they put my order together. My "8-Ball" is totally Sativa dom, and doesn't show many if any Indica traits. It does smell sweet, sour, and citrusy -- really tasty fragrance. Here's what I pulled from one plant in a 1.75 gallon container, organic soil (the longest branches in the pic are about 2 feet long):

I'll tell in a few days when it's dried. I'm guessing 40 to 70 grams off this one plant. I've got another 8-Ball that's about a week away from harvest, grown single cola style in a one gallon container -- I'm guessing I'll get about a half oz or so off that one.
Is the 8 ball kush a heavy feeder ??? Should I go lighter nutes or heavier?? Im in the first week of veg in my hydro (superlocker 2.0) and am giving 1/3 nutes.
