ya i guess so, depends how muuch water there getting. and now the water all funnels to the middle and certain spots to because the coca has become almost hard on the top, and i cant do much about it without destroying a shitload of roots

so you think its to much nitrogen? why so? the leaves are burning and turning yellow but only certain ones, the rest of the plant is loving it? Should i just be doing a real good flush and continue back on track? just build ups? but thanks man! happy to see them when there done

It is either to much or not enough as the plants will use up stored stuff from lower leaves, but a flush once in awhile would help remove salts. I flush once in awhile just to make sure and the girls don't seem to mind it, the last flush and goin back to nutes did help I guess as the buds have begun to plump up more along with alot more crystals. I have a solid 3 + weeks to go as they are still poppin new hairs too.

hey moshi sounds to me like they need a good flush. also when you water them u should be getting at least 10% run off out of the bottom of the pots this helps get rid of salts. once they build up it will lock out nutrients.. then let the whole lot dry out before your next water.
also next time round i would recommend smaller pots. you really want them to be able to dry out the whole pot in 2-3 days for the fastest growth.

thanks for the advice man! much appreciated, i didnt get to flush last sunday and its the only week i havent flushed probably why the build up started. I was thinking bout smaller pots for next time but wasnt sure because the plants roots are at the bottom and coming out the top of the soil and such?

yeah smaller pots are better in my experience they dry out quicker and when u water more regularly they seem to grow quicker. obviously you dont want them too small to get root bound but you will find your groove with a bit more experience. otherwise your girls are going great man.

Hey guys im 7 weeks into an eight flower, still have 35% long white pistols on almost all my babes, i vegged her for a little over 3 months and she is just too big, small bushhh, really trying to discipline myself not to cut her to short, any ideas on how much longer i should give her? i shorted her a lot of nitrogen the last two weeks and due to a slight ph problem on top of that she has lost many of her large top fan leaves, im not sure if thats directly related to the end process of flowering or what but her base leaves are doing for the most part fine, any ideas on where i should go from here? she was topped 3 times and has about 8-9 main colas which has resulted in top 35% of them filling out properly and quite some gaps between huge popcorns, just let me know what you think

Mine are about the same point, i think alot of people were going 8 weeks flower time. I no the one of mine will be 8 weeks the other two might push into 9 weeks. 8 Ball kush seems to be a long grow, but my buds are turning out great.
Well peeps I have had nothing but bad times with 8ball Kush! Just put the mother in the flower chamber and wrote her off! Barneys is not someone I would purchase seeds from again! Bought 5 fem 8bk seeds and only 1 popped! Nice plant huge leaves but i live and die with my cloner and this bitch doesnt give you shit for clones! Straight up and little to no side branching! I topped her and got 2 tops and still no side branches. took the clone rooted her and tried to super crop her. no dice, mother was 5 months old and only around 2 ft tall! little to no stretch in flower either! Good buzz very nice! Just not good for my system i guess. also purchased 5 V kush and same results 4 outa 5 were a no go! Every other seed a purchased that time popped with no issues! So no more Barneys for me! But your plants look great and good luck!

Ya i wasnt over impressed with the 8ball kush from barneys this time around, 4 out of the 5 seeds popped and all 4 plants were different. Just wasnt a fan either

so were all harvested and cut down, All three plants are drying right now looking like a little over 3 ounces. Ill give you guys an official weight once done drying. I trimmed the one plant immediately and is drying in the cupboard drawer. Plant 2 was trimmed and hung in the closet and plant three was left not trimmed and hung up to dry will trim after, kinda wanted to experiment to see what has a good result. So overall im not super impressed with the turnout maybe my expectations are to high for the experience i have and maybe i didnt grow to full potential, but one plant turned out real well the single cola plant, Has real dense trich'd out buds that have a purple tint to it with bright green very pretty and im happy with this plant, but it didnt yield near the other two. The other two plants produced alot more of a sativa bud forsure, big fluffy hairy buds not even close to the dense kush like buds on the other plant. They will dry for a few more days then go into curing. Next grow is Shining Silver Haze and some Cheese. Cant wait. Here are some pics froom along the way (just got the one plant pics for now)!

i got 3 BF 8 Ball Kush growing right now flipped recently. vegged for 3 months.

#2 being the less bushy but roots faster than all three.
#3 being the taller grower of the three and bushy like #1
the rubbing of the stems give off a real mint green flavor.
Grown with Fox Farms ocean forest cut with equal amounts of Gardner and Blooms Worm Gro Worm Castings, then cut with 25% Big and Chunky perlite. Watered with nothing but R/O H20 with CalMag+ and Better World Organic Fertilizer. Will Bloom using Fox Farms Big Bloom and Teas to complete my TLO Grow.

I cut 7 clones off of my 8 Ball and none of them made it. I think it is just a hard plant to clone. My other 14 clones all came out fine: 7-CH9 Jack & 7-Female Seeds Co. White Widow/big Bud. I have never had any issues cloning before, this is why I believe it is the genetics of the plant.
I also noticed that it is really sensitive to the amount of nutes you apply to it as well. It burns really easy. Now I am just going with 25% of the recommended dosage of FF Big Bloom. You really have to be careful with these girls.
