Getting close to harvest?
Start getting ready now.
You will need some nice scissors, not cheap ones. Your hands will cramp and get tired, so get a helper.
Some harvesters wear rubber gloves to harvest, and use alcohol to get the trichs off of the gloves, but they make my hands sweat too much.
You will need several Boxes if you dry in boxes and several box lids for those little bitty buds that you can not hang to dry.
You will need some shoe boxes or containers to separate the FAN leaves (that have no trichs) from the trim leaves that do have the trichs.
You will need alcohol to clean the scissors.
I hope you make HASH and make OIL too with the leaves.
I prefer a screen to remove the trichs, instead of ice and bubble bags, but that is a matter of choice and preference.

The strain is white widow from AMS
I vegged with SH nutes and am flowering with Technaflora using their recipe for success.
Veg lighting was dual spectrum 2's from SH and I'm using a 600 watt HPS for flowering.

Its afgan kush and northern light, These are the first clones that I rooted, so im proud of myself! This is the last week with big bud next week I start using overdrive!

Damn, some nice grows for sure. Well, here's mine anyways....
end of week 8 with this sativa and she's starting to show orange shriveled pistols everywhere. I'm hoping that's a sign of the end cuz I don't know how much more she can do with all the damaged leaves.. she's had it rough, but I learned a lot about ScrOG and flowering properly, so it was worth it. =)

You could do that but the buds that you wait to harvest will not develop any more because the plan will be in shock and won't start growing again for at least 2 weeks.

Yes, partial harvest are a commitment to at least 4 more weeks. @ to get over the shock and two for the grow out.
I'd consider it if I wasn't going to grow for awhile.

Well, I was just studying the very thick undergrowth and looking at all those popcorn buds I have when I found this!
So far, I can not find any other buds like this. The very little branch was blocking my entrance into an empty cup when I noticed, HEY, THERE ARE NO HAIRS ON THAT BUD! Then I realized, IT IS SEEDS!
It means I have a HERMIE somewhere that impregnated that bud, and that closet is so crowded, I dare not try to pull the tank out to search all of the growth. The walls of the closet are supporting some very long branches! I am fairly sure judging by the maturity of the seeds that the hermie has long since shot it's pollen and probably impregnated other buds. Well, on the bright side, I will probably find some more seeds at harvest.
If I was younger and did not have this bad back, I would pull that tank out and give it a good searching today.
I don't know what to do next!!
Well, this at least gives you an idea what a fertilized female bud looks like after it has made seeds.
I sugggest you look at every bud and make sure it still has pistals. (the hairs)

its been a journey, but i owe it you you all.......couldnt have done it withought ya here are some pics of trichs, and bud. i have harvested some of one plant at 8 weeks with cloudy trichs, some amber, ganna wait another week or so for the rest. been flushing for one week now on the indica dominant. i also have a sativa that needs to go for more like 3-4 weeks, ill update pics of that tomm. hope you enjoy....remember these were moved about 1 hour away from my old house.
