8 Sour diesel, about to go 12/12 flowering, tips?

i have 8 sour diesel clones the have been veg. for almost 3 and half weeks in 5 gal. pots. they are under 1000w hps for 18 light and 6 dark hours. i water them about twice every week. i am using foxfarm oceans forest with worm castings mixed. they are in a 5ft x 5ft x 6ft grow hut with reflective foiling (not white walls). Temp is constantly 79 or 80deg light hours and dark hours goes to about 70, it has been really hot here in cali, so its hard to keep the room cool even wit the AC unit.pH is always 6.6. i attached some pics, any tip/hints would be very helpful! i am in the process of the 36hour dark period before i start to hit them with the 12/12 flower cycle. i have osculating fans and two 6in. (YOU CAN ONLY SEE 1 INLINE IN THE PICS) the other inline is attached to the other end of the duct spitting the hot air out of the window. inline exhaust fans and a carbon filter. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK SO FAR??? ANY TIPS OR HINT WOULD HELP ALOT! IM A 1ST TIMER. anything you would do different?

When you flower you'll be watering them evry 2days ...... :)

dunno what else to say... check the ph & ppm dont go to high with both of em..

i am gona watch this grow :)

dam homey, you got money to afford the air turbine.......looks good and everything .i live in southern cali........man, the temps are the same and hot all evening. i spray the plants with safer product to prevent high humidity mold or fungus problems . other then that i have noticed heat stress.thinning of he leaves........if you notice the leaves comming out thin and burned tips.........the temp maybe too high.keep the bulb 12-15 inches away./ i have a 400w and it says to have it 12 inches away........plants look healthy good for three weeks.............

Looks like a very nice grow spot! I can see how it's hard to keep it cool down there, but it sounds like you're venting it lots so hope it works out well for you!

the d is a sativa or mostily sative.

It is some very potent herb, that is for sure.....

There has been a lot of revision by different breeders since the original too. As far as I know they have kept a lot of the original genetics and just added and selected to/from them. I just got my Double Strawberry Deisel Seeds yesterday, waiting patientaly for them to crack

Now when you say ny sour d I think you are mixing 2 things up. There is the NYCD New York City Deisel or the Sour D (Sour Deisel). I think you probably have teh Sour Deisel right? I cant tell by looking. If you have the NYCD there is an 'elite' cut and a seed strain by Soma. I bet if you got if from a club as stated then you got the Sour D as that one is probably more popular in CA but its all who you know I guess.

sour diesel is a must for sure, have you thought about how you're going to combat the beautiful aroma those flowers will be giving off.

I am curious how long the total flowering time for this grow was. I am growing two NYCSD plants and they are taking forever to flower. I am into my sixth week of flower, and there is very little. My plants are sativa as fuck with razor thin leaves.

I would love to know how long your plants took.
