my "friend" has an 8 x 8 x 8 space he's going to convert into a grow room. he knows pretty much what he needs, but wants to make sure he isn't forgetting anything. this will be paid for by an investor that wants to know an estimate of the cost.
the room will be divided into an 8 x 4 flowering area, a 4 x 2 vegging area, and the rest is for storage and/or work space. these supplies are only for the flowering area because he has what is neccesary for the veg room. he also has plenty of heavy duty extension cords, oscillating fans, 3 gallon pots, etc. due to an older grow room he had been running. (that room was plundered by an asshole burglar.)
here's his list of supplies he has come up with so far...
1 - electrical panel to wire the room
2 - 600w 6" air cooled inline HPS lights
2 - 6" inline fans
? - heavy duty ducting
1 - heavy duty digital timer
2 - 25 ft. rolls of mylar
1 - carbon filter/scrubber
2 - 4 x 4 flood trays
1 - room exhaust fan
1 - room intake fan
this will be a soil based grow operation. soil, nutes, seeds, ph up/down, etc. has already been considered and factored into his estimate of $1500 USD.
has he missed anything big or obvious? is his estimate going to be accurate? any thoughts or ideas are greatly appreciated.
